Remote Controls

Has anyone got the Inteset INT-422 to work correctly with Flirc? I have left the devices set to the default programming but can't seem to get the keys to program correctly through the GUI. I remember reading some other posts recently that suggested programming a remote as some other device, but I can't recall what device. My thought is perhaps the pre-programmed devices aren't set up well for enable all of the buttons. For example if I try to program the stop button, nothing happens. I also already tried disabling built-in profiles in Flirc.

My flicr came in tonight and other than having to manually load the driver, seems to be working pretty well. But I need to edit a couple of keys and since both the flirc and the Harmony 650 are both new to me I need some help on how to do this. My skip forward/back keys are the main ones I need to change. Right now if I use them while watching live tv, it changes the channel. Many remotes I have tried do this, so I know it is a common problem. It looks like I need to do this in the myharmony program, not the flirc program , but iam not sure about that. Hi i have successfully added Flirc Kodi as a device to my Harmony 1100. However the back command does not work and is only registering as an enter command? All direction keys work fine along with enter. Advice please.

Hi, Has anyone tried configuring LG TV Remote - AN-MR400Q with Flirc , I tried mapping the keyboard keys , but when I press the button in front of TV , TV inputs take precedence and I do not see Flirc working?. can anyone tell as to how to workaround this? Thanks

I need to map the menu button from the Fire TV to my Harmony, but I'm not not witch keys to record for the menu button. How do I program Flirc to make the menu button to work with Fire TV?

I have both a 2014 and a 2015 Fire TV, with 2 Flircs. I have a Harmony 880 and 890 configured for each respectively. Everything works as expected on the 2014 version. However, on the 2015 Fire TV, the "Home" function doesn't seem to work. The remote sends the correct signal because either remote will trigger Home on the 2014 TV. Also the wake/suspend works on 2014 but not on the 2015. Is this a known problem? Shouldn't the "Home" keyboard trigger be same on both devices?

Hi All, TO save some trouble for the next person: I bought a Flirc to control my nVidia shield running Kodi. My remote is a URC MX-810 with an MRF-260 base station that outputs the IR. I was having an issue programming the flirc to my existing Kodi buttons from a previous setup - getting errors like "button already exists" on new buttons etc. Turns out, the Flirc cannot understand the "Windows Media Center" codeset from URC. If you are using one of this brand remotes, use a different codeset - the "Direct TV" receiver worked for me, then Flirc understood it all. Overall great product after getting over that issue!

I have to use < and > as one of my application use this 2 keys. However when I select by pressing Shift < and Shift >, it registered as Shift , and Shift . . It seems not working as it should be < and > . Is that any way to fix it or it may be I missed out something?

I have been using Flirc with a Harmony One to control XBMC/Kodi for years. However, recently I purchased a Harmony Ultimate (includes some hub) and I'm trying to get the same functionality with it. This uses a different Logitech application called MyHarmony than I am used to. I got most of the functionality working. However, I am noticing that the SkipBack command in XBMC/Kodi is actually causing a Rewind, not a SkipBack. How do I go about fixing this? There's an option for fixing commands in this application, but it sucks.

Hi, I have an old Kloss 88 table radio that I'm partial to and would like to use as the speakers for my HDTV system. (I need the FM as well.) The problem is I've lost the remote for it. I recently bought a Flirc and I'm in the process of consolidating my remotes, but a profile cannot be found for the 88 in any of the several manufacturer-published lists I've seen. A Google search comes up empty as well. So my questions are, obviously the signal from any single remote keypress produces an infrared pattern and a learning remote will store that pattern in memory. hi everyone, i am running kodi 15.2 on a win10 tronsmart ara x5. so, flirc (v. 1.3.6) came in quite handy .. but i have issues with 2 buttons: shutdown: doesn't do anythingfullscreen: actually minimizes my kodi into a windows window and back again to the fullscreen mode.. but does not get the streamed media to go on fullscreenis it me.. or is the win implementation not doing what it should?

None of the Flirc profiles (XBMC, Fire TV) in the Harmony 7.x software for Harmony 880 and 890 transmit any IR for any button (expect for TV/Receiver assignments). Has anyone gotten these remotes to work with the real Flirc profiles, instead of some other device?

Hi there I'm about to buy a Flirc adapter for use with a HP 260 G1 However, I wanted to use it like I currently use CEC on my RPI... by setting up my TV remote to control the box. I've now been told on the Kodi forum this might be a problem as the LG remote will throw out commands that the TV will try to respond to at the same time as the HP and cause issues. Hi, Newby, I have an MX-880( that I programmed myself with the CCP software) that I use to control my TV, PS3(via PS3IR-1000), Amp, and will soon be adding a HTPC to the mix, so looking for control options. A user on the unRAID server forum mentioned Flirc and here I am! HTPC will be XBMC on Win 7. The URC remote software program(CCP for short) has lots of options for Mircosoft IR codes, including X-Box, XBOX 360, WMC(RC1264103) and lots of others. So for XBMC I'm presuming I would load the XBOX 360 codes onto my remote, then 'teach' the Flirc those codes. Anyone using a URC remote? Advice appreciated, Cheers

Hi, I have a "SWK-8695WS FREEBOARD KEYBOARD" IR keyboard, The company that sold them in Sweden was called "Boxer". About 1 key out of 7 is giving me the "button already exist" error from Flirc setup program. Why is that? I mean doesn't an IR signal have to be unique for every button so the receiver don't get confused? Or are there other ways of sending the keys? I also have a problem of assigning the shift, windows, ctrl and alt keys. It seams that on this keyboard they have there own IR signal. When Flirc asks me to press shift and another key for example "shift+k", I can never press shift and the k button simultaneously, Flirc will register only one of the buttons not b…

I am using a Harmony 650 with a Flirc to control RasPlex. My TV is a Panasonic ST60 (TC-P60ST60) which has some Smart TV features. I typically leave my RasPlex sitting on the movies screen. When i do this, I noticed whenever i have the Harmony change activities that RasPlex is receiving a delete file command. When I switch activities to the RasPlex, if it was on the movie wall, I have a confirmation window sitting there asking if I want to delete these files. By running help on the remote, i was able to track down the offending command to "Panasonic TV Viera SmartMENU set to OFF". This command is not shown anywhere within the Harmony software. I recently replaced my Harmony One with a Harmony Hub and the Smart Control. Harmony One was working fine with Flirc but the Harmony Hub is not. Left Direction is not working at all and the other buttons is working every second press, sometimes jumping 2 times. Has anyone successfully used Flirc with the Harmony Hub and at what settings for Flirc and the Harmony device profile?

Flirc and new Inteset INT-422-2 remote arrived today. Installation/setup was easy as was initial config of Flirc keys and connecting the remote to my TV, Flirc, and Receiver. Everything seems to work pretty well with a one very frustrating exception; virtually no keys will repeat on long press. IOW, the volume, when held down, should repeat and continue to scale up or down. Same with Pgup/PgDn, and directional keys (under some playback conditions). I've done some research and found a few similar posts, but no real solution. I've seen repeated references to changing the Inter-Key in the Flirc GUI. Sadly, I haven't found a really good explanation of exactly what this key do…

First of all, I blame myself for not researching this receiver more. I bought another receiver a while back and it "just worked" with my WMC remotes, so I expected Flirc would, too. I didn't realize that it merely mapped IR signals to keystrokes. I have a WMC remote that, I think, came with one of my Hauppauge tuners. (It's been years.) The keys are the same as the Rosewill RHRC-11002, but its shape is more like the Adesso ARC-100 remote (but it's black). Good morning, first sorry for my bad English, I try explain my problem. I have the Flirc Streacom Edition Model. I configure my harmony 350 with Flirc profile but it hasn't the power button mapped and it doesn't emit any signal. In the harmony I learn a remote signal and assign it to power button but the button doesn't emit any signal. The assign process is correct but the power button doesn't work with flirc profile (it doesn't emit any signal), but with others profiles it works perfect and it emit signals. Can Someone say me how can I make work the power button with the profile? Is necessary some actualization? Thanks for the support.

I purchased two FLIRC's. I have them now. Using windows pic remote configuration profile on the remote.. I keep programming the buttons using the kodi setup, but the up key never goes Up, some of the others buttons don't work properly either. My FLIRC-SE sometimes does not respond after I start computer - even if i turned it on by remote. It just ignores any button presses for few minutes, then magicaly starts responding and works fine. Then if i dont use it for few hours and press any button, it responds to it and immediately lockes up again, staying non responsive for few minutes. Its win 7 machine, FLIRC-SE, firmware 3.6. USB selective suspend is disabled. Motherboard is suplying it with power in S5. Im starting to be a bit crazy over here, because i love the product - it just seems very unreliable. Hello, I just finished my new to me media center build. The ultimate problem is that over time my Harmony remote no longer controls Kodi. The setup Windows 8.1 (dual monitor - display and TV) Harmony 650 Flirc driver 3.0.6.0 Kodi 14.2 Helix stable My computer and display is in the basement, TV is "second display" upstairs with IR extender. The IR emitter is electrical taped to the back of the flirc. When I start Kodi, flirc and the harmony remote work great. When I hit the "power off" button, TV, HDMI switcher, and stereo turn off, my computer stays on. When I power everything back on perhaps the next day, hardware comes on but the harmony remote does…
