Hi guys, This remote had been a godsend over the past couple of years but I'm wanting to setup my Pi with it. It works but something is annoying me, this is the setup I have to do: Press Watch a Movie button Remote 1) Pioneer AV receiver 2) Samsung TV * Samsung TV - Set to HDMI1 * Pioneer AV - Set to BR/DVD The Pi is on so no worries there. The next bit is what annoys me.. On the remote I have to go to Devices and Select Samsung TV for me to remote control the Pi because of HDMI-CEC. I can't find a way to customise the activity so that Samsung TV is already the device controlled rather than me manually selecting it on the remote. I know it's nothing much …

Hi I just buy a new rc Philips 1103 and I configured with flirc to work with htpc with openelec The problem is that I need to press every keys 2 times to make it work ! I configured the same remote with my raspberry pi and a cheap ir receiver and it works fine Do you have any idea guys Thanks in advance

Hello, I have recently purchased an Harmony 650 and a Flirc Device. Now i installed the flirc and updated to firmware 2.6 I chose XBMC Profile and it didnt work very well....if at all. i started reading more and more on the forum and i decided to go for an old solution....the TV Profile. So i added the panasonic TV Device and uploaded it to my Harmony. Now when i fire up Flirc and chose the Panasonic device i want to start programming the XBMC layout but it is not responding to my keymapping at all. Am i doing something wrong?? Am i missing something? Thanks in advance for any help i get to point me to the right direction.

I have an Airmouse remote from Tronsmart, Tsm01. I wonder if I can keymap that with flirc? I use the remote for XBMC on my mediaplayer Tronsmart Vega s89.

I have a Harmony (650) and I'm setting up Flirc with XBMC. But I can't seem to find any definitive answer on the best method to use. There is a pinned post that describes using a Panasonic or Samsung TV profile to control XBMC (http://forum.flirc.tv/index.php?/topic/22-harmony-remotes/), but that's dated from way back in 2011. Is it still the ideal way to go? Then there's the recent blog post about Flirc having it's own harmony profile now (http://blog.flirc.tv/flirc-has-a-harmony-profile/), and this is dated much more recenlty -- April 1st. Just got my flirt module in, software works great... the remotes I tried and especially the one I bought it for not so much. Remote #1: Xiaomi android box remote Home & option button, back & left button can't be distinguished from one another. Sometimes I can learn the buttons alright but they get mixed again after learning always resulting in the same behavior. Sometimes even buttons get swapped. Hi folks! I was hoping to get this remote working with Flirc, but it's exhibiting some unresponsive behavior. The seller sent me a second unit as well, as I figured the first was defective, but the second does the same thing. So I figured I'd better come over here and try to troubleshoot if I could. I'm using v2.2 of the GUI and I'm trying to get my new Logitech Harmony to work with Flirc + XBMC. I was happy to see that there is a profile for this in the Logitech Harmony database, but when I tried the remote with XBMC launched it didn't seem to work. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

I have a problem with a remote where it seems to randomly send key presses. When I try to record a button it sometimes records before i press anything. This happens even with a cleared configuration. Is there a way to record all received signals from the remote? That would help me find the failing key. And is there a way to tell flirc to ignore certain remote signals? Thanks Thomas

Hi I am trying to setup a uverse silver remote to control xbmc. It will program the basic functions up,down,left,right and enter but the buttons for the ff info etc will not program. Is there a way to get the remote to take the presses or do I just need to try a diffrent remote for xbmc? Thanks

I'm trying to get this to work with the Flirc but it doesn't respond when I use the Microsoft, MCE, or Media Center PC Codes. Anyone know what codes to use, I would like to use it with XBMC. I even used the codes from and still nothing... PLEASE HELP! :unsure:

I'm able to use the basic flirc GUI to map basic buttons, but is there a profile that works for Flirc\WMC in the logitech software? Specifically to have the Watch TV activity start WMC

HEY IM THINKING OF BUYING A FLIRC BUT HAD A QUESTION. IF I WANTED TO USE MY TV REMOTE WITH IT WILL IT INTERFERE WITH THE TV BUTTONS. EXAMPLE IF I PROGRAM THE HOME BUTTON TO GO TO HOME ON XBMC WILL MY TV GO TO THE HOME MENU ALSO?

Is there a keymap that shows what XBMC functions are assigned to which keys on my Harmony One Remote? The basics are working: play, direction up,down,left,right select. I also have "back" show up on one of the virtual keys on the screen. I am using the updated firmware v256 on my Flirc and have Selected the Flirc XBMC "device" on my Harmony One remote control. XBMC is running on my Raspberry Pi displaying on my TV (via HDMI). I've had a look at the Flirc GUI (Flirc v1.0.0-beta) but from what I can tell there is nothing I need to do there since the keys are already paired - but how are they mapped? I can not seem to get any of my remotes to work with the program. The device seems to learn properly, but when I try to use the remote it does not seem to recognize anything. I've used my Samsung, Onkyo, Windows Media Center, and Xbox remotes (I think I read that one isn't supported yet anyway.) I have also tried to use random remote codes from my Samsung Smart TV. No buttons seem to work at all other than during the initial learning process.

I want to use the Apple Remote with Flirc when playing movies with Plex Home Theater on my Macbook Pro 2013. I have the remote working with Full Keyboard, but then things like Volume Up/Down and Context Menu doesn't work like expected while in playback mode. Instead the movie will jump forward or backwards some minutes with the arrow keys, and the Menu button will exit the movie. Instead the arrow up/down keys should controle volume, and the Menu button should pop-up the Context Menu while playing. Just got my first flirc a couple days ago, and my hopes were high. Not so high at the moment. I'm running the latest software (v1.2.3) on a Windows 7 x64 HTPC, and the latest firmware (v2.4) on the flirc. My Home Theater setup consists of a number of devices, all of which are controlled by a Universal Remote Control MX900 I've had for several years. It can do both IR directly (which I don't use any more) and RF converted to IR via a URC MRF-250 device. It converts the RF signal into an IR signal and sends it via emitters mounted on/near the amp/projector/DVD/CD/etc in a cabinet built into the rear wall. Hi all just ordered my flirc and expecting delivery soon. Just a few questions while i wait. Ive got an HP mediasmart tv remote that can also be programmed for CBL, DVD, AVR and AUX. The standard tv profile must use the mce profile as it works my xbmc out of the box. Depending what you set the remote up for on the other profiles depends on whats buttons you get to use. So can flirc work with mce signals ok or will i have to set it up in a different profile? Hi guys, I finally found the remote I want to use with Flirc: Small, good looking and functionally - the xbox one media remote. BUT: I does not yet work. I can record buttons within Flirc, but once I'm done and I press the buttons, nothing happens, neither in Flirc, where the paired buttons should highlight, nor in XBMC, where just nothing happens. Any idea what going wrong there? I'm on the latest firmware... greets

Hi, I have just bought a new flirc in order to use it with my Openelec HTPC. I tried it with all of my remotes (Lg TV, Samsung TV, Sony Stereo, WDTV, a programmable Meliconi Digital 6 Light with dozens of profiles tested) but I always have to press every key twice in order to get any response from my Openelec 3.95.3 XBMC. I upgraded to the last 2.3 flirc firmware with no joy. I'm really disappointed, because my old Windows ir MCE receiver works totally fine and it seems I have just thrown 33 euros in the garbage...
