Hi Does anyone have experience getting a B&O Beo4 remote to control an Amazon fireTV box? I've trained the Flirc in my PC, but when inserted into the Amazon box, control via the Beo4 is erratic - working sometimes, but more often not, and when it does in an inconsistent way. Even list scrolling is erratic and often results in unexpected elections. I've updated firmware, erased configs and started over several times. This is all via line-of-sight from the Beo4 to the Amazon box, i've not yet routed the PUC eye to the Flirc, as I plan to do when I hide the Amazon box from sight. I've rwad some accounts that the Flirc finds B&O signals herd to read/replicate, but tho…

Hi. I am trying to control my PS4 with my Beoremote One for my Bang & Olufsen Avant TV. I have programmed the Flirc for PS4 on my Win 10 computer with help of th GUI app. The Flirc is connected to the computer. With all other IR remotes form other companies I get a reaction in an editor programm since the FLIRC works as an external keyboard but not with the Beoremote one from B&O. So, I don't get any reaction, when using the Beoremote One on the editor nor on the PS4. I used the FLIRC keyboard and the PS4 remote to program FLIRC USB. What am I missing? Hi guys, I was able to correctly map almost all the buttons between shield pro 2019 and a harmony 350. Current issue i have is that the 'ok/enter' mapping does not work with the on screen keyboard (for example through the main search or through Plex search for example or any other app that uses the standard leanback or Gboard keyboards). Currently typing a letter makes the keyboard disappear and the letter is not typed. The ok button works for everything else with the harmony. Like opening an app, playing a file , etc. Seems strange that they would use two different codes when typing and any other 'ok/enter' action ? Anyone else seeing the same ? …

How do I program my harmony one remote to work with my fire tv and kodi app on the fire tv? I have a Sony tv which responds to the harmony remote but the flirc plugged into the fire tv does not respond. Hi, I recently nuked my Logitech Harmony settings by accident and cannot get my setup to work properly again... I particulary cannot retrieve the responsiveness of the commands I had. I use a FLIRC device made for STREACOM HTPC cases with a Harmony Smart Control remote (with the Hub). Details about what's not working: - It seems that EVERY other IR blast is ignored by the receiver! For each action I now must press TWICE, no matter how long between the two commands! - I cannot retrieve the fast browsing in menus when holding a key: when pressing an arrow for example, I would move quite quickly in this direction with my old profile. Hi, I setup my Flirc USB with the GUI and everything seems to work fine. I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with LibreELEC and Kodi. Every key seems to work but I always get a Double Key Press no matter which button I press. My remote is from an onkyo AV-receiver. I found this page: https://support.flirc.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201366933-Double-Key-Presses it looks like it could solve my problem but I dont have any menu like this in my Flirc GUI v3.24.0. Is there anything I can do about the Double Key Presses problem?

Hi I have searched but I seem to be a bit stuck. I have a FireTV and Flirc and a harmony remote but I can't seem to get the remote to work. I choose fireTV in the Flirc software in windows and set/send a few buttons to what I want. Unplug the usb dongle then plug it into my FireTV, also set the flirc to xmbc and or fireTV in the harmony software but nothing happens when I press buttons on the remote. It's as if the fireTV is not working in the usb port. Am I being stupid and missing something really simple?

Just got my Flirc in the mail today and went to go set it up and I've been having all sorts of problems with it and my remote. I've got a Blu-link VP3700 (and here is the manual for reference) I installed the Flirc software and drivers, plugged it into my HTPC and proceeded to set up my remote for XBMC and, while at first it was working fine, when I got down to the media buttons on the remote (play, pause, fast foward ect.) they just weren't working so I thought that it might have been the device button I was programming the commands to (the DVR button), so I wiped it by entering the 9999 code and tried with the DVD/VCR button and it just didn't work at all. then tr…

Hello, i have a lowe tv which have a remote control which can switch between tv, radio, recorder and dvd player. But only loewe products per default and i have only the tv. So i have thinked that one of them can be used to control a raspberry kodi. But if i pair the remote with the flirc ir receiver. I only can pair one key. If i want to pair another key: He say "This Button is already used". In tv mode all keys can be paired. So i think the remote splits in dvd mode the signal in two parts (DVD Code + Key Code). But flirc only get the first and interpret all other keys as the same, because all have the DVD Code. Can i tell flirc somehow, that it needs to use th…

ive attached a log where you can see the play button on the remote and the enter button are both triggering different IR codes but in flirc software its interpreting both as the same button and once one is recorded it always errors saying button already exists. Is there anyway to fix this so they record separate events? my_flirc_log.txt

I'm trying to get my flirc v2 working with a remote that was included with my TV card (DVBSky T9580 V3). I've recorded 6 keys on my Windows 10 desktop and then plugged it in to my HTPC running Arch Linux and Kodi 18. Unfortunately a lot of double or no presses occur. I'm sending a device log where I pressed 5-6 different keys for 1-2s which I hope you can take a look at? Otherwise I'll need to return the flirc as it is unusable in this state. i am trying to use my LG magic remote to control my andriod formuler z7+ Box As well as my TV And whilst I can get it to work it’s very slow. I’ve tried changing the inter delay and tried recording the button twice but when I do it keeps coming up with redo. Not sure what else to try. I have the original flirc.

I just got one of these remotes and it's one of the best I've used in terms of button layout and feel. Works great with FLIRC and my TV. Does anyone know if there's a way to pair it with my FLIRC device seperately from my Sony TV? (to seperate the inputs) Thanks

looking to use for my fire stick 2nd gen. can i map dpad of said remote to mouse and a toggle of said control mapped to mouse emulation toggle button? also how many keys can be bound to one button? 2 max? i was thinking if 5? i could map 2 to a/b/c & 2. and so on... cycle like? like this: first tap is 2. 2nd of same key is "a" and so forth?

Hello. I would like to control the inactive (non focus) window of the player. For example, on a large monitor, a movie is played in Kodi, and on a small monitor I work in a browser. When you press the button on the remote "stop", there is no response from the video player, because the window with the player is inactive. Can I make a pass-through transfer, define buttons for a specific application?

Hi, I had problems with Flirc in the past, but managed to get it to work with this remote. Now Kodi 18 came out and I updated my Libreelec to version 9. Some buttons started to misbehave so after a few years of reliable use, I plugged the Flirc into my Windows 7 PC and tried to reprogram it. The prompted firmware update failed at first, I had to restart the program, it then resumed the upgrade and was, apparently, successful. Set up is a Mythbuntu HTPC, Logitech Harmony One, FLIRC, TV etc etc I live overseas, so I sent them instructions on what to do (and set up the Harmony profile online for them so they just had to update it). Holding remote's arrow button down invokes repeated presses on STB. Doing the same with Flirc (checking via GUI debug window and Kodi) does not. Only get single event. Found this lovely shiny remote control in a drawer. After much Googlerising I discover it's a Schneider Electric GU6000RC1R. Anyway... it works in the sense Flirc sees the remote control messages. But although the log is updated each time button A is pressed, Flirc only triggers it's recorded key now and again. It's as if the remote is sending different messages even though you're pressing the same button... does that make sense?
