It seems the Sony bank (XBR-65X900F) is missing a cursor right option. This is pretty important for navigating the built in Google TV.

Hi All, I'm trying to update the firmware but nothing seems to be happening. I am doing the following; Remove the batteries. Press and hold the centre button and the back button (the one below and left and has a circular arrow on it) Plug in the USB cable Light blink red (Light blink red if I press any other button) Start the app After around 10-12 seconds the remote contacts but not firmware update has taken place. Model is SKIP.1s.RELEASE.A05 and has a FW version of 4.12.6-0-g60dd93b Has anyone got any ideas or can the firmware not be updated on this model? Thanks Graham

Hello, My Skip 1s remote suddenly stopped responding completely as if the batteries were dead after about 2 months of light use. Ultimately I'd like a replacement but after submitting this issue in January of this year, I've gotten no response. There was no damage and no sign of issue the day before. Changing the batteries to a few different newly bought pairs didn't work. It is not recognized by the computer any more. Nothing lights up on it. Not sure why it crapped out but would appreciate suggestions on things to try or would like a replacement seeing this seems like a manufacturing error.

Received Skip and loaded latest app. Set up "Watch TV" with Onkyo TX-RZ50, Apple TV 4K (2022) and LG TV. Finding the correct device for the Onkyo was hit and miss. I never found one of the selections that had all the mapped buttons. This is in the same family as the TX-NR7100. Another user had the same problem trying to map his Onkyo. I know you are working on the device input selection, but right now, having to guess what selection matches your equipment negates the automation of the app. Hopefully at some point, entering the model # will pull up the correct device parameters. i got my skip 1 remote today downloaded the app and no matter what i do i cannot get it to connect. i plug the usb in and it says connecting but no matter how many times i unplug and plug it in it still doesn't work.

New to the Skip 1s realm. For the life of me I cannot understand why something so simple as the Home Button isn't already assigned with respect to a LG OLED C2/C3/G3 class of products. The Home button is an essential command. Considering the position of LG as a television mfg, what am I missing - - or what gives?

My 1S remote arrived in the mail today. Unfortunately, nothing I do gets the app to see the remote is connected. Windows 11. I waited to connect the remote until after the software was installed and it asked me to connect the remote. I connect the remote, the computer dings (and I can see that the 1S remote has been added to the USB devices). But the software never sees the remote. It sat on the "click continue" screen for an hour. Eventually, I told it to skip this step and I did get into the software and setup the remote activities and devices. I've tried rebooting. Does the Skip 1s support MediaPortal from its device database, or does it have to be paired with a Flirc to control it?

After roughly 24-48 hours of use my Skip 1s become unresponsive and the LED ring flashes red. I can reflash the firmware etc and get another 24-48 hours of use, but then it become unresponsive etc again. Any way to fix this? Given the Windows software doesn't work alongside Steam, having to reflash the firmware every couple of days is becoming quite frustrating.

When I am programming Skip, I test actions (specifically power on a Pioneer vsx1021 receiver), and works great, but when I disconnect Skip from my Mac, Skip couldn't turn on or off the pioneer receiver. I tried with new batteries, and same results.

Hello, I received my imported 1s + Flirc USB today and couldn't get the software to detect the remote despite it showing up as a device on my old Windows 11, my brand new Windows 11 with nothing installed, as well as using various USB ports and cables all have it show up within the list of USB devices. All downloads were done and installed today, yet the very first instruction to connect the cable to the remote only left me with the "I'll do this later" option and no matter what buttons or activities I assigned within the software afterwards, the message down left notified me that the "Skip 1s is not connected". Hi, I was able to set up the 1s a couple of months to half a year ago. Now that I wanted to add something to the configuration the app does not recognize the remote. When I plug the remote in I can hear the windows connected sound and a device being added to the device manager, but the status in Skip app remains "ManCave is not connected": Yes, the name of the remote is ManCave. I can see the lowermost grayed out button changing to "connecting" when I insert the cable but that is as far as it gets. I've tried two different cables and two different PC,s using both the lates beta x.965 and latest nightly x.965.7441. I'm at a loss here, please assist

Hi. I'm setting up my new remote with my Philips 50PUS7906. Everything seems to be working quite well out of the box (after finally being able to start the app, thanks!), but I can't seem to get the back button working. I'm kinda guessing which model is the correct. "Code Group 1" doesn't work at all, "Code Group 3" and "Code Group 4" both entirely seem to lack any back button, so the best shot seems to be "Code Group 2" which has one, but it has no effect on my TV. All other keys I've tried are working fine. Any ideas what to try next?

I upgraded my computer and reloaded all my software. I figured I was doing what I'd need to by saving my remote configuration in a .skip file. But now that I've loaded the app on my new Mac, I can't load the file. When I try to open the file itself, it says the Skip App can't load such files, and when I try to load the file from the app, the Open option in the File menu is disabled. I tried connecting the remote and syncing it, but I get an error that says it can't sync? So how am I supposed to update my remote settings if I can't get the app to acknowledge the settings I already created? I don't want to have to start over again.

I just updated two activities and hit sync and I got "An error occurred while synchronizing" and now the remote does nothing and will not sync. Prior to this my 3 activities were working as expected. Tried removing batteries, different USB-C cable, different USB port...nothing. The app's 'File' menu's options to open, create new, and save settings are all grayed out. Latest version of Skip app.

I'm trying to create a custom JSON to support the Luxman L-505uXII, an integrated amplifier, but I'm having an issue with the volume buttons. Skip 1s seems to send NEC repeat code during a long press, but the amp's IR receiver doesn't seem to recognize it reliably. Having a look at irtools output, the amp's remote sends the same code multiple times rather than substituting NEC repeat codes for them. Is there a way to send the same code multiple times without using NEC's repeat code? Thank you in advance.

My remote seems to be locking up when the power button is pressed multiple times within a short period of time. I then have to remove the batteries, wait a few seconds, and then put them back in. I think that this may be due to the macros. I have a macro to send a power on command to the device and change the input on the receiver and one that sends the power off command and also changes the receiver input. I absolutely love my skip 1s, it gave me the best remote for my nvidia shield with the ability to control my tv for some buttons, hdmi switch for others, and nvidia shield for everything else. The one core function that's missing is the ability to put the shield to sleep on power off button. With the real shield remote it can be done with home+back (https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4701/~/shield-tv-shortcuts). I've tried to recreate this with skip app. I don't see a "home" but assume it's main menu, so using main menu and back in the same popup, but it doesnt work, nor with exit and back. Skip App currently lists "INPUT BD/DVD" but on my STR-DH740 these are separate inputs. When pressed this button only selects BD and I'm unable to select the DVD input. I tested all the other input buttons and about half of them don't seem to work on my receiver.

Mode buttons appear to all be there with the exception of "Mode Surround". Have this button on my Harmony remotes, and want to map buttons to switch back and forth between the surround decoder and stereo for the Apple TV. Any way to get this added without going through the entire remote learning process and creating a whole new device?

First off, this is a great device, love it paired with the Flirc USB. My setup is as follows: OdroidN2 with Flirc, Sony TV, AppleTV. I have the A program controlling TV and Apple TV. The B program controlling TV (to turn on) and the OdroidN2 with Kodi, and the C program controls just the TV. When I am viewing Kodi, with the remote on the B program, everything works fine. But, when I switch the remote to C and control the TV to change input or do something related to TV specific functions, it still controls Kodi and the Flirc at the same time in the background, causing Kodi to go through settings or play something or whatever. First off I want to say that I really really really want this to work. I'm a fan of what the team is doing. I'm getting frustrated. My situation is very simple. I have a windows PC running Kodi connected to an LG tv. I've attached a Flirc (firmware 4.10.2) to the PC. I've setup the remote using the skip app (v0.9.956) with one activity.
