Skip 1s

I just started programming macros on the color keys. Will the remote remain in control of the last device macro? Or will it be bound to the main device on the A,B, or C button after executing the macro? Confusing to describe.

I tried the Skip 1s to control my devices, but it's not usable for now: Apple TV 4K : not working, light on the Apple TV is telling it's receiving something but not working at all. TV Set-Top Box: Amino Kamai 7x : Not working HDMI Switch: Ultra HD HDMI2.ObMatrix 4K X 2K HDR ARC HIFI : Not Working, there is no possibility at all to select a HDMI Switch. Onkyo HT-R340 Amplifier: this is working, but had to configure on/off by hand Only Thing which is 100% working is My Samsung TV Hope this will be change in the Future, for now I'm using a Logitech Hub, which is controlling everything 100%, but will be unsupported.

There are missing key functions on two of the three devices I am using the 1s on. How is it possible to get more fuller remote capability? Surely, this is a major shortcoming of the mappings done so far. For example, on my PVR Fetch device, there is no function available to erase recordings, like on the original remote. It makes the 1s mapping almost useless. Am I missing something obvious here?

Dear Sirs, I just got your SKIP S1 and I think it's a very good device, but I'm still learning how to use it. I saw that under TOP BOX you have the option brand: TELEKOM (I hope this is TELEKOM SLOVENIJE), but I have the NEO package and the NEO remote, which is not listed as a model. However, Skip S1 does not work with the suggested models. I am attaching a picture of the remote control. Could you help me? If you still need any information, just tell me. I just received my Skip, and I'm trying to get it to work with my Shield. My Shield edition doesn't have an I/R sensor (I didn't know this before), so I also purchased a Flirc USB. I originally tried to set the USB to use the Shield pre-configuration, but when I did, it ended up sending spurious signals to the Shield. I re-tried it numerous times, and finally reverted the USB back to the Minimalist configuration. That seemed to solve the spurious signals. But now when I try to use the Skip to control the Sheild, nothing happens. I've assigned the various cursor keys to the controls on the Skip via the Skip app, but they don't seem to do anything. Hi, I'm running the latest firmware from this forum (12) and the volume up/down buttons are extremely slow to activate. While the LG navigation buttons I used for the TV go into rapid-fire when holding them, and also react very quickly, this doesn't appear to work for the volume buttons I've set to control a Pioneer VSX/SC compatible receiver. The commands are sent once every second (and can take a long while after pressing the remote - this is another issue; the remote shouldn't be doing anything if no one is touching it). Loving the look, feel and function of the remote so far! Cant wait for you guys to build out the app and features of this device and then get into making further hardware iterations :) Just a question with the communication between the Skip 1s and the Flirc USB. Does it need line of sight or can it be plugged in and out of sight and still receiver commands from the remote? Thanks

I received my Skip 1S and it appears to be a good replacement for my aging Logitech Harmony as I only used a couple of activities anyway. The only thing stopping me from making the switch are two devices that I can't power: - Sony X900F TV - MediaLight LED Backlight I've tried to decode the signals for both with Flirc using irtools.exe, however none of the codes appear to work. I know there is a plan to support learning inputs in the future, but is there anything I can do in the meantime to manually add unsupported devices? I appreciate the help.

I have been using the Skip remote (fairly) successful for a few weeks now. However yesterday something bad started happening. When I press any of the buttons that do multiple commands (are we calling these macro buttons? e.g. power on a few things, or some I have assigned to other buttons that do multiple things), it seems to only do the first function and stops. Previously it would light up the rainbows on the led wheel to show it was doing stuff in the macro, but now it just quickly flashes up the rainbow LEDs for a fraction of a second and then the LEDs go off. Anyone else seen this? Any ideas how to fix? It's making it mostly unusable.

Hi everyone, I just received my Skip 1s today and its been great. Only issue I have is that I can't get it to power on or off my Sony Receiver. I can control the volume oddly enough though. I've tried every STR profile and no luck. Its a Sony STR-DG710. Thank you in advance!

Just curios as to the choice to use React Native for the desktop app? I am a developer from the good old days and was curios about it so I googled it and it seems really incomplete for a native desktop development environment. Have you guys never heard of Lazarus Native IDE? Creates single file executable for Windows, Linux and Mac and is wayyyyyy more complete and polished than react native. After a long period of waiting, my Skip S1 remote arrived last week. I had two destinations in mind for the remote, my living room or my son's room. It has become the last option because I have a number of devices behind a wall in my living room and there are currently no facilities to get it working. My Harmony companion handles that better for now. So I programmed the remote for my son and used the 3 options A, B and C for Emby, Kodi and general buttons. So I got my skip a week or so ago and it's working really nice with a IR repeater. Wife likes it and it's been reliable so far. The software shows great promise, I just hope you guys are working on a way to add devices separately from the activities so they can be added to multiple activities with having to add them multiple times. I've finally worked out all the kinks with my Skip 1s. The app takes a learning curve if you're coming from harmony and a bit cumbersome in some places, but I've got it dialed in for my needs. I only use it to control my Nvidia Shield with an AVR and then to turn on the Xbox so my setup is relatively simple. Honestly I like the remote and system more than harmony now that I have it figured out. I know yall are still rolling out pre orders for this Skip so it may be a bit ridiculous for me to ask, but are there plans for a backlit version in the near future? first off I used the skip 1s everyday since I got it configured the 1st week in June 2023. I like the ergonomics and it worked better than any other remote that I have used in the past. Crisp response - buttons are tight not loose - they always work - no double clicking required - fits in my hand and I can find the buttons without looking if the room is dark. Hi, I'm looking for a programmable, customizable remote that I can give my 93yr old mom to make it easier for her to navigate her smart tv, dvd and cable setup. It seems the Skip1s is the ticket but I have a few questions: Can you program a macro (or pair of macros) to switch source inputs, control an external DVD player and then either using the same button, switch back to the cable box and control cable? Can a single button act like a "flip-flop" (say, button A) to switch to the SmartTV's embedded Netflix app and then back to the cable box controls? Missing one of the most important features "Voice Search" "Voice Control " Know one types anymore also "Bluetooth" "2019 Nvidia Shield TV" Not sure why your team forgot bluetooth voice search and voice control? Using any online streaming app or even kodi one can speak into the microphone on the remote and find the show, movie or function in seconds vs typing in everything required with an IR remote. I have this issue with my remote where every so often it just stops responding, for about 3-5 seconds. Every button I hit does nothing. Then suddenly it comes back and works again. It tends to happen a couple times over the course of a movie. I attached my config. My firmware is version 4.12.10-0-ga6a774d. I'll check if there's a newer version available. I received my remote today, I’m so excited to finally replace my dead Harmony remote. One thing I need help tho is trying to make it work with a Xiaomi TV, I’ve tried a couple other Android TV brands but doesn’t seem to work, I got the rest of my equipment working. Is there another brand I should tried (already tried with TCL and Samsung)? Will there ever be support for Xiaomi?

Hi my BenQ EW3280U monitor isn't supported in the app but I have its remote. How can I use the remote learning feature? It's listed as a feature in the ad but there's no explanation of how to use it.

Just received my new 1s. While the Skip App is up, I connect the cable. The status at the bottom shows "Connecting" for a few seconds, then goes to "Offline". That's all it ever does, and I can't get it to be online in the app. The remote does appear as connected in skipUpdate-0.9.70, so I was able to upgrade the firmware and downgrade it, but no firmware version changed the connection status. There are no errors in device manager, and i'm using windows 10.

I have tried the HT-SS / associated codes as its part of a system called HT-SS1100 but nothing works.
