  1. I believe you can set up a new device with just the missing buttons you require and then use it in your assignments and macros alongside the original. There are way too many buttons on the Marantz remote to set them all.
  2. You need to choose flirc on the skip. Make sure your flirc usb is in line of sight. Best to use a USB extension cable from the shield.
  3. Have a look at Advanced Tips/ Adjust Button Timing You can easily rearrange the order of your sequence by dragging and dropping. Clicking on the action will allow you to adjust the duration and delay.
  4. If the Harmony Hub is working, you can control it with your phone or tablet using the app.
  5. Are there any different options for power on/off? My Marantz has Power On, Power Off And Power Toggle all working. It will also power on when selecting an input. I'm sure @jason would be interested in the details of your codes via the beta feedback thread.
  6. Only the Linux download is working for me at the moment.
  7. Yes, this would be more like the Harmony system of adding devices only once and then choosing from them when building an activity.
  8. I ran into a similar issue as I was looking to add a missing button for a device. I cannot add a new device as A B and C are all assigned. I know that additional activities are promised and it would be great to see these implemented by long and double presses of ABC. I have backed up my remote so I can add to the testing by deleting an activity and creating a new device that way... Edit - oh wait, I see that you don't have to start from scratch anymore, so I can just add a new device with just the missing button I require and assign it to a button. I will check it out later.
  9. My device has now been successfully updated to 4.13.2 using app 0.9555.6989 after receiving the following advice from @jason Few steps: Launch the application Unplug the remote Remove the batteries Press and hold the menu back and the cursor enter button while plugging in the remote to the computer
  10. I am in the same position and from what I can gather the updated firmware is embedded in the app updates. It is supposed to prompt you to update the remote firmware, but I've never seen this. Take a look at the Beta section for Jason's latest post - update with IR learning. This says that firmware 4.13.2 is included, but I am not prompted to install it and still have 4.12.18
  11. It may have an RF remote. The skip is IR only.
  12. The simplest way is to use a redundant button ( say 1 or 2) and program it to switch the HDMI and power off the unwanted device and power on the other. then you need to press A or B to get the right control functions. If you do this for both activities then you can simply switch between the 2 . Power on/off will only turn on/off the devices assigned to A or B, so by turning off the un wanted source, you will keep everything in sync. It takes a while to unlearn the way your previous device works, but I like the way selection of A/B/C is independent of the power button, but does control what the power button will do.
  13. There is a minor bug in this device as the Mute button is mapped to Mute Off and therefore has no effect. It is easily corrected by remapping to Mute Toggle.
