Hi, I have three devices that power on for my "A" action. I find that one of my devices can sometimes fail to handshake with another if their power on commands come too quickly together. Is there a way of adding a delay, say 0.25 to 1 seconds, in the power on sequence? ie Power on TV, delay 0.25 Seconds, Power on Amp, delay 0.5 seconds, power on Sat Box. My very old Logitech Harmony remote had this option, very useful

Hi, I have a Yamaha RX-A6A amplifier. Your list gives the Yamaha RX-A4A. There are some small differences. How do I get the RX-A6A added to your list? Am I able to add new inputs to your current RX-A4A, such as another HDMI input? Thanks

I just loaded the SkipApp in order to review the configuration and make an update. However, it updated as soon as it started and now it's treating it like a new installation. How do I get my current configuration that is already on the remote? I don't want to go through the configuration all over again, is there a way to download the configuration.. the one that is currently only on the remote?

Hello, I don't understand why but yesterday i was unable to shut down my TV. I have changed batteries, still not working When I'm plugging my remote in USB on my mac with the app I can do everything with "test actions" menu, but when i remove the usb cable the remote is not working. Nothing happens when I tap a button (no light, nothing) I've tried to restore default configuration within the app and restore my configuration, still the same. I've done nothing on my remote since several weeks, i don't understand why it's completely blocked right now. What do you suggest ? Please help. I'm now completely addicted to this remote :(

I have had the skip1s remote for a couple of days now.I bought it because I’m a long time user of harmony, but am increasingly worried about the server being shut down, so I looked at different options and decided to try skip1s. So far things I like, the remote itself, feels good in the hand, looks good and the app is good.I can’t wait for the A,B & C buttons to actually power up and change activities, something like harmony does, hopefully this update isn’t too far away.Keep up the good work, it’s and excellent product and it has great possibilities

Is there any plans to add a sleep timer to the remote? As a harmony elite user that's one function that I would want to have in my replacement.

Is there a way for the Flirc 1s to send a command say after 10 seconds from the power on command? Delay doesn't seem to be working, no matter how many repeats or seconds I set. My receiver turns on slowly and defaults to a particular HDMI input. I need to send a command to change the input, but need to wait until the other CEC devices all power up. I can make this work by hardcoding the new input command to another key and then pressing it after all devices are powered up. I'd like to however have this command sent after a certain delay. Is there a straight delay function or some other way of programming this?

Thanks for the Skip 1s, thanks for the Flirc earlier, (how can it be the opposite of all the work done in lirc, including 90 degree reception, at distance,) I understand that we got the Skip 1s early as some capabilities are being implemented. If I have done it right, I have attached a remote for the Sangean DMS-37BT, presented in such a way it might work. Perhaps for inclusion in the Skip 1s graphical app, and perhaps as a concept template for others. Where are the firmware updates? been finding issues with my Skip, like the delays don't seem to be working in the power on and off. I have a power on macro where I need to switch inputs on the TV and I have like a 20 second delay when all added up and it only switches the input once in a blue moon. No way the delays are working properly.

Hi, I already get it that the A, B, and C buttons have no influence on control state, and that they only remap all the other buttons of the remote (so they are more "modes" than "activities"). But I'm a bit confused with the behavior of the power button: When setting up an activity, I can define explicit "Power Up" and "Power Down" sequences of steps. Most of my devices have a power toggle button (versus discrete power state codes), so it is very important for me that the power up/down state of the remote matches the real state of the devices (otherwise devices will end up out of power sync state with the remote state). I bought the Skip 1S about a week ago and can't seem to make it do anything at all. I'm using the Skip 0.9.94 Beta software. I plug the skip into my PC with the USB cable, star the skip app and create an activity. I select the TV as the first device, but am never queried for the device name. Same thing for a streaming device. Seems like there is no device database at all. Any pointers?

One moment the remote was working fine and then the next time I tried to use it the middle ring light flashed red three times and seemingly no IR signal is sent. I've tried replacing the batteries but that hasn't made a difference. What does three red blinks mean? Is there a way to fix it?

The skip remote and flirc usb arrived. I am able to run the Flirc linux app in fedora but I cannot get it to "see" any button presses from the skip remote. Out of the box, do any of the buttons on the remote actually send a signal? The A B C and light buttons light up as expected (I think) but when the Flirc app is in learning mode it never reacts to any button presses of the skip remote. At the moment I would simply like remote/flirc to do the basic multimedia key events like play/pause etc.

Hi, so from what I can see there's been no response from any member as listed in the staff directory for ages on any of the many topics and issues that have been raised. Is this project dead like the batteries in my remote? It takes very little to post something, even if it's an update saying other life priorities have come up and you have to take step back for a period; at least let us know. Hi, when I press a button on the remote, if it's been more than about 10 seconds since the last button press, it won't do anything on the first button press and you have to press the button again, as if the first press wakes it up and the second press actually does something. Is this how it's supposed to be? Thanks

Hello. I am trying to setup my Flirc Skip 1s with nVidia Shield TV Pro 2019. It is able to control my TV, my Soundbar but when I am adding buttons via "Set Top Box > Nvidia > Shield Android TV (Media Manager)" they just don't work at all. Is this version of SHIELD supported at all?

I just got my Skip 1s remote and so far it is OK. IR function seems to be weak I am having to use an IR blaster unless I am only 5 feet away from the device. Pros: Nice looking remote. Once you figure how to enter the button mapping things seem to go better. Love the ability to custom buttons. Works with IR Blaster to help with weak IR. Work with Sonos. Cons: Remote seems to randomly turn off, meaning it just stops working. I know this because the LED on the IR blaster is not flashing. I have to remove the batteries and hold the power button then re-insert the batteries to get to work again. Weak IR. …

Hi I just got this dune homatics box r 4k plus and it's pretty cool and has a built in IR receiver and they say it uses Google IR codes? Anyone have the skip one s working with this variant of the Homatics device?

Remote is on firmware 4.12.18. I have lowered the LEDs to 20% in the app (9.92 BETA). Installed a fresh set of batteries and after about two weeks or so the remote is unresponsive upon the first button press. It's like it goes into sleep mode after a few weeks. At this point, I checked the batteries and they register as being at about 50% capacity. If I change them and put in new batteries the remote works as intended upon the first press. This has happened about three times since I received my remote. I will try lowering the LEDs to 1% and see if that helps them last longer. Firmware 4.12.18, last sync'd with 0.9.9.2 app. I have the power button set up to only turn the TV on/off for all three activities. Every once in a while the remote will just turn off the TV out of nowhere. At the time of the power off the remote is usually sitting on a table and nothing has interacted with it. The TV turns off and I glance over to catch the center LEDs cycling to imply that the remote has done something. On top of that being weird, if I push the power button under normal conditions it doesn't trigger the center LEDs to cycle implying that it's not just being triggered by the power button. I just gone done doing Activity A which is just using the ShieldTV. I must be doing something wrong because after mapping all the buttons and syncing the remote, unplugging it from the computer and pushing any button gives no response whatsoever. No lights on the remote, power button does nothing and no changes on the tv. Even pressing the 4 color button in the middle of the remote does nothing. When I first put the batteries in that button at least made the remote light up. I was able to get it to communicate when it was connected and when I was mapping the buttons and pressing 'test actions'. I did update to the firmware when it prompted me to.
