It appears from this forum that many people are having issues with mappings. I've read that self-learning is coming soon. Can someone please provide an approximate timing window for this? weeks, or many months?

My Fetch remote has a button that brings up the TV guide, in Fetch language, the EPG key. This button isn't exposed on the Flirc mapping. How do I get to be able to map this?

I have a Marantz SR5015 receiver. I've tried adding every Marantz option and all I get is the ability to power on or off the device. Not any other button. Can you please advise how I can get more functions from the Marantz remote exposed into the Flirc app?

Hello, I've got my new Skip 1s mostly setup and I think this will be a suitable replacement for my Logitech Harmony, but I've got 2 questions - In the On function for activities, the only thing that doesn't seem to be working is the LG OLED TV switching inputs. And it's odd because if I assign HDMI 2, etc to an individual remote button, it works as expected. Just not in the On sequence. Is there a reason for this? - I have a FLIRC USB to control my PC, and my Nvidia Shield. Thing is, it appears the individual buttons for each FLIRC are making both devices "respond." How do I tie each FLIRC USB to the specific device? Thank you.

Hello, On the website you clearly state that "The Skip 1s remote has been designed from the ground up to integrate with Flirc USB." but I just can't find any information or a guide about any 'special' behaviour between those two. I see that I am able to record any of the Skip 1s buttons with Flirc USB but that's exactly how it works with any remote. Is there anything extra I get when I have those 2 devices? Because it sounds like maybe there is.

Hi, I think the wizard is a bit confusing when using Skip for the first time. I think it'd be better to jump directly into the mapping page, with the ability to add devices one by one, and an empty remote.

Device is STR - K1000p Select Device, Try All STR Sony Models, Try all Sony Models with Receiver in the title. "Test Device" and nothing. I cannot wait until the learn function comes online - But in the meantime, This remote is no good for my set up if I cannot control my Audio.

I just received the remote today (arrived very fast after being shipped!). Everything seems to be working well with it except for the macro power button. In my first activity, I have a TV, Roku Streambar, and HDMI Switch; in my second activity, all of the aforementioned 3 devices plus a blu-ray player. The problem is that it never seems to power on (or off, for that matter) all of the assigned devices - it only ever seems to register for about 2 of the devices on average, 3 tops for the blu-ray activity. I got my Skip1S setup with my Roku just fine, but I also have an Amazon FireTv Cube that I use for other apps. Amazon devices like the FireTV Cubes and Fire Sticks don't appear to be listed anywhere in the wizard. Is there a workaround or upcoming addition in new software?

Hi! I'm running firmware version 4.12.18 and app version 0.9.80 and ever since I update to this configuration the power button only turn on/off the first thing that I have matched to the power button. All the power commands works separately, but when pressing the power button it is only ever the first command that is working. Would really like a fix for this. BR /Tony

I was able to get my TV, alone, working with the Skip 1s. By working, I mean it power toggles. I've had no luck getting my cable box or my sony surround-sound/audio-receiver working. Neither model is listed in the drop down list, and randomly choosing 1 after the other and testing is too time consuming since I've hit most and neither box works. In addition to a step-by-step/for-dummies instruction manual/video, is there a way to force an update to the device list? the firmware? the app itself? I've read of a .json file that can be used to add unlisted devices, but how does that work, and where would I find the values needed to populate the json file? …

I was impressed that configuring for streaming+kodi mostly Just Worked right out of the box, but I have one issue which is some of the buttons (volume and transport controls) appear to generate media control events instead of just plain keyboard events, so they get intercepted by the system instead of handled by Kodi. Is there some easy way to adjust this? Alternatively, is there a way to tell the skip1 to just generate a unique IR code per button so I could then manually configure the FLIRC to map them to the exact keypresses I want?

I've got my Flirc USB plugged into the Nvidia Shield Pro (2019 version), but it's not taking any commands from the remote. I've tried to look a little here on the forum, but not sure if I'm just missing the answer, or if my expectations of the flirc and skip 1s to be able to communicate with shield out of the box are unrealistic. I do have my shield turned around backwards for now so that I have line of sight to the Flirc USB. Any suggestions?

Good day, When I pre-ordered the skip 1s back in December of 2022, the skip web site stated that they would be shipping in February of 2023. The email confirmation I received states shipping in Fall of 2022. It is now April 9, 2023 and I have not received any notification about shipping. I have made 2 attempts so far to contact you via a reply email (one on 3.25.2023 and another on 3.30.203.) and both have gone unanswered to this point. The sound bar is in the database and all other commands work - volume and mute. I have another remote that correctly controls the power on this unit but I don't know what the commands are specifically. I have tried both the toggle command and the on / off commands separately and together - no luck. Do you have way forward in this situation currently or will I be able to "transfer" the IR command to the skip 1s in the future through the app?

I am trying to get used to how this remote works but this one has me stumped. I have one activity configured to watch TV. The Power On macro powers on my amp and TV and switches the inputs to the correct ones. The Power Off sequence powers off the amp and TV. Pretty much all of the time I try to power off the activity it powers it on instead. I'll power on normally, watch an hour or two, then press the power button on the remote to shut off everything. Instead, it tries powering on everything again and switches the inputs again, after which I have to press the button a second time for it to actually power off. Hey team, First off, I wanted to relay how much I love the Skip 1s for my theater. I can't wait to see how the remote matures over the rest of the year. The one issue I'm encountering is how the remote handles powering down my TV and AVR at the time same. So the behavior I'm experiencing today is this. 1. TV and AVR are powered off 2. Pressing the Power Button on the remote will turn on the TV followed by the AVR immediately after. 3. I ran a Powershell command to watch the log file in real-time and what I'm seeing looks like the app is constantly trying to find a remote to connect. I've seen other people post they have the power button used for switching modes between activities, which I agree with most posters, I'd rather the Activity button does that. But skipping over that. My problem is more basic. I've tried to assigned lots of things to my power button and the remote never sends ANY data out.
