  1. Hey Jason - After setting the remote aside for a couple of months, seeing that you had a bunch of updates, I decided to take it for another spin on the weekend. Overall, things appear to be working much better. I still have some gripes, but I can now reliably power things on and control my devices. But... I'm still having a problem with our cable box. I noted that there was a new entry to choose from for UIW Series IPTV Receivers (which matches my model number) but I still can't press the same button twice in a row. Honestly it's intolerable. I'm still giving it a go, but it's an absolute dealbreaker for my wife. If there is anything I can do to help resolve this problem?
  2. Because I've been struggling to figure out the right configuration for each of my devices, I've had to create and delete activities many, many times. It would be a huge timesaver if instead, when I edited an Activity, opened the Wizard, clicked on the device, then clicked on the device type, that I could edit the model. The model input field seems editable, but it isn't. I can clear out the contents, but if I tab out of the control, the original contents reappear. I can type in whatever I like, but when I tab out, the original contents reappear. It would be great if I got the dropdown choices again, so I could quickly switch.
  3. Our cable box is a technicolor model UIW4001. I was able to get two of the models under Technicolor to work about equally: - IPV5050 IPTV Receiver (Set Top Box) - IPV6015 IPTV Receiver (Set Top Box)
  4. After a lot of trial an error, I figured out the right device to use for my cable receiver. It's not perfect (not all of the buttons, such as "page up" and "page down" are available) but it "mostly" works. What really doesn't work well is clicking through channels. I click channel up, and it works but I have to wait for several seconds (sometimes 20-30 seances) before the remote will respond to my clicking the same button again. For example: click channel up, then click channel down and it works pretty much right away. Click channel up, channel moves up, but that button will not respond again for 20-30 seconds. I found that if I click the button multiple times, sometimes it will go faster, but it's not reliable. This basically makes the remote as an option for channel surfing useless. I don't have this problem using the native remote, or using the Harmony iOS app. Is there a delay built in somewhere? Can that be changed/updated?
  5. I'm on a Mac. Nothing happens when I hit the test button. And to clarify, the test device button does nothing, even when I'm editing a device that otherwise somewhat works with the remote.
  6. I'm working through trying to set up my equipment and in the first 45 minutes I have run into the following issues: 1. When I clicked the sync button the first time, the app went back to the first screen and wanted me to set up a new remote from scratch. I did so, but then the app found the original configuration and now I have two configuration for the same physical remote, with no way to delete either of them that I can see or find. 2. Sometimes the app will get confused and think it is connected to the opposite remote configuration I'm trying to set up. This especially happens when I manually hit the sync button. 3. None of my devices can be found when I go to set up devices. For example, I have an LG projector. When I go into set up my projector as a device, I can't search by model number - there are just a bunch of generic options. So far not one of those generic options will actually operate my projector (I have a HU810P). The same goes for my Onkyo receiver - I go to set it up and I can't search by model number, more generic options. 4. When adding devices, not clear what the difference is between "Audio" and "A/V". Thankfully I was able to get my Onkyo receiver working with one of the options under Audio, so that was a small win. 5. There is a test device button that appears when I have selected a device, but it doesn't seem to do anything when I press it. 6. There is no way I can find to configure devices that I can then use in activities. This means I either have to start by copying an activity, or re-set up the device for each activity which is tedious. 7. Power toggle didn't work for my projector, I had to reconfigure the power buttons to power on and power off - I wish that was the default. So far all I've been able to connect is my receiver, which I can turn on and off.
