P.Verbrugge Posted February 23, 2023 Report Posted February 23, 2023 Has anyone here been successful in setting up the remote to use Kodi? I run Kodi on a Raspberry Pi with LibreElec with an IR receiver attached to it. I am not sure how to set this up with the Skip app. When I use Kodi with Flirc, it does not seem to respond at all when I active the activity. Quote

I have the following in my test bed: Skip 1s with a Toshiba TV profile Raspberry Pi 3 running LibreElec Flirc configured to use the Kodi controller configuration. I configured the Flirc to read the IR sent from the Skip 1s. Everything worked and I was able to navigate the Kodi interface with my remote. I don't have the Flirc receiver, but an general HP IR receiver that is connected through USB. That does not seem to respond to the Flirc commands. :-) So not sure what I need to choose. Quote

The HP receiver might be a generic Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver. If it doesn't work, post the part number(s) for the receiver.
