Hi, GUI Version 1.3.0 Firmware Version: 3.3 Ubuntu Version 14.10 x64 When saving a config the GUI doesn't give it a file extension. When trying to load a config, the GUI can't list any type of files, so it is impossible to load a pre-saved config because it can't list anything. The drop-down to select which type of files are shown only gives the option of "flirc config" - which doesn't allow anything to be displayed. The files that is saves, even though it can't load them in again, appear to be small binary files, so the saving option is apparently doing something promising :) Apart from this bug though, I have got my flirc pretty much up & r…

I am experiencing a frustrating behavior (which seems to be a bug) on Windows 11. My remote has properly configured arrow keys, but when using them to, let's say, move the selection between the desktop icons grid, the movement works well only when it is clockwise or counterclockwise. If I repeat a key or a direction (horizontal vs vertical), the movement stops, and I need to press the key twice (or more times) to get movement. UPDATE: Working with a Thomson ROC4301 but happening only when the selected configuration (it has TV, DVD, SAT and AUX) is not AUX. Using AUX solved my problem but I think the problem is is still there Thanks in advance

Hi there. As I see here this is a known issue, any update on when this is going to be fixed? You should consider removing the command if it doesn't work, just purchased my first Flirc and I was about to go nuts thinking I was doing something wrong, until I found that thread. If this doesn't get fixed, how can I delete a button I programmed using a remote I no longer have access to? Thank you, this seems like a fantastic product. Cheers, mprost

Hello, I'm unable to use flirc with latest Raspbian arm64 running on RPI5 because there's completely no package for aarch64 architecture. Can I kindly ask to add it to supported architectures and start with bulding it? Almost no one is using armhf (32bit) userspace at this time.

The title says it all. Steps: 1 - File/Clear configuration 2 - File/Load configuration: load a previously saved configuration Result: Flirc USB functions as expected 3 - Power off Flirc USB, then power it on again Result: Flirc USB now doesn't function as expected: its configuration is now empty, verified by saving it. Workaround: after step 2, you have to record at least one button for the whole configuration to be correctly remembered off Flirc USB.

In the latest Windows App 3.27.10 under File/Advanced/Load Embedded Firmware, it tells me i'm having 4.10.2 installed on my Flirc USB 2.0 and latest version is 4.10.1

Assign a button to CTRL+ALT+DEL and it does not bring up Task Manager. It doesn't do anything. Any chance this can be fixed?

Basic info: Ubuntu 16.04 Flirc 3.20.4, installed both ways (tried alternates) described here: https://flirc.tv/ubuntu-software-installation-guide (Debian curl, and generic 64bit archive). However, the dongle is indeed connected, and it successfully receives commands from my Harmony remote, and controls my Kodi setup. I have a Gen1 Flirc and has been working fine. Opened app this am and said there was a firmware update (3.27.5). Loaded update and when I plug the Flirc into the usb port, the app closes. I rebooted windows (11) with the same results. Without the Flirc plugged in, the app does show that it is running 3.27.5. Plug the Flirc in, app closes.

USB Flirc V2, OneForAll URC-7960 remote set up for Media Center configuration In GUI I modify configuration for Kodi. Arrow keys and digits work out of the box. I program all the remaining keys I need (back, info, menu, epg and media control keys) without any issues. Problem: The programmed keys work very erratically: In the GUI, Play and Stop are never detected as pressed; Pause, Rew, FF, Previous, Next like on 1 in 5 attempts, the others are detected like on 3 in 4 attempts. In Kodi, all the keys seem to work the same - about 1 in 2 attempts is not detected; of the detected ones, 1 in 3 results in multiple keypresses. I attach saved config …

Just got this today and installed the app and it's not working right at all. I have an old roku tv remote. when i open the flirc app and press the up button in the app it says it paired with out having pressed a button on my remote. then if i click on file in the top bar ghost inputs are happening, continually scrolling up through the options making it imposable to clear the configuration, if i hold down on my roku remote (which was never parried as an input) it stops scrolling up and i can clear configuration. It's a total mess. I'm running it on windows 11 What is going on?

Hi, First post here. Since it's my first flirc and I just used an old remote I found lying in the appartment, I'm wondering if my flirc is buggy or if I just need another remote. For example, Volume + gets mapped to volume -, and Volume - gets mapped to... 0 Erased and started over quite a few times, without success. At least the mapping errors are consistent. Hi there, I wanted to give another chance to the Flirc IR receiver and fired up Flirc's software. I was running 3.25.3 and received an alert for an update to 3.26.0, which I installed. For sure it immediately crashes on launch. Platform: Mac OS X 10.14.6 Why is the software acting up *again*?

Hello, my flirc detect 3.25.4 update, the update process starts, but after flirc restarts, it is still in 3.25.3-15. It never update to 3.25.4. What can I do to update correctly to 3.25.4 ? Thanks for your help

Hi, my flirc is not recognizing any key presses. I would try to pair a button with a keyboard key any it keeps blinking awaiting for a keypress. It doesn't recognize that I am pressing things on my keyboard but it's not recognizing the keypress. Any ideas? I have just downloaded and installed Flirc-Setup-3.25.4.exe from your website. I had to use Edge to get it at all, because the flirc.tv website doesn't work properly in Firefox. When I chose "open" at the end of installation (under Windows 8.1 Pro x64, Flirc GUI immediately prompted me to Update my device firmware (which I did) *and* update the GUI software from 3.25.3 to 3.25.4. The installer identifies itself as 3.25.4 but the executable file (c:\Program Files (x86)\Flirc\flirc.exe) contains no version information. What gives?

Just bought a Gen 2, and after installing the software I tried to use the command line utility and found that there seems to be a bug in how the command line is parsed. Every time I try to use the utility, no matter what I put after the executable name I receive the same error message: [E] lib/libcmds/cmds.c run_cmd(275): could not find command 'flirc_util' Looks like it is considering the name of the executable as the parameter. I double-checked by renaming the executable to 'help.exe', and sure enough I got the output I would have expected from 'flirc_util help'. I bought a flirc to control my mediea center (Kodi Matrix) with my bloody default MCE IR Remote which works perfect with OnBoard IR and EventGhost. While most keys are working out of the box with the Flirc USB (2.0 | Firmware 4.9.3 | Gui 3.25.3/4) I am not able to record Play, Stop, Pause and Power Button. So Kodi cannot be shutdown and the PC cannot be woken up. Which are deal-breakers. Also the "WAKE" buttom from the Full Keyboard cannot be programmed. Sorry to say, but the software seems to be green bananas... a pity.
