Hello there,

so once I finally got the libraries working and started the GUI it's logging recursively:

[E] lib/libflirc/flirc_driver.c fl_major_version(425): something bad happened
[E] lib/libflirc/flirc_driver.c fl_minor_version(415): something bad happened
[E] lib/libflirc/flirc_driver.c fl_patch_version(435): something bad happened

Someone already pointed out in 2017:

The GUI also says that Flirc is not connected but flirc_util sees it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Fedora: 41
Flirc: 3.27.16 64bit

Tried both debian based installation, and the manual using archive, same issue.

    So just for fun tried the 32bit version which is 3.25.3 and it's working.
