Repeating keys or directions not working well

I am experiencing a frustrating behavior (which seems to be a bug) on Windows 11. My remote has properly configured arrow keys, but when using them to, let's say, move the selection between the desktop icons grid, the movement works well only when it is clockwise or counterclockwise.

If I repeat a key or a direction (horizontal vs vertical), the movement stops, and I need to press the key twice (or more times) to get movement.

UPDATE: Working with a Thomson ROC4301 but happening  only when the selected configuration (it has TV, DVD, SAT and AUX) is not AUX. Using AUX solved my problem but I think the problem is is still there
