Current Device List SkipApp - Device List.csv is a consolidated device list of SkipApp our supported devices. One thing to note, there are more categories here than in our current app. We consolodate these, and overlap some devices. So some might show up in A/V and Audio. To distinguish, we have added the category in parenthesis to our device list: In the SkipApp, the Misc. Category contains everything. I have been trying for about 2 months now to program in a new remote for My HDMI switcher Manufacture: ALYYDBG Model: 8K@60Hz HDMI Switch 4 in 1 Out Every time I try I get a message saying along the lines of I need a network connection even though I have one and it says it can not contact server. It doe not let me save the remote even. I had been using Fedora 43 up until today when I tired using skip-app_0.9.995+10457_amd64.AppImage under ubuntu server 22.04 today.

Hi, I bought a Manhattan T4-R for my mother (who lives about 400 miles away) and sent it up a few months ago. I thought since then that having an all-in-one remote could be useful and as I had a Skip 1s which worked well thought this could work well for her too. I assume that the T3-R remote is very similar to the T4-R so loaded that profile but unfortunately the CH+ and CH- buttons are missing. Unfortunately I have already sent her the STB so don't have access to the remote to learn the codes so wondered if anyone had an updated T3/T4-R profile with these channels? Otherwise I guess I'll just wait until xmas when I'm up and program the remote then…

The skip remote does not want to learn the RC-P27 remote that currently controls my HD Radio. It quickly says that it didn't quite get that, before retrying and erroring out. I did try using the one other Sagean remote that was in the database but sadly it did not work. (I had no issues with learning my semi-obscure parasound pre-amp so I'd like to assume it's neither a user or hardware problem.) Any advice would be appreciated. Q

So I've learned the IR commands from my A90J remote; however, long press of a button stops functioning after a second or so. This means, for example, that holding volume down will not take the volume down to 0. The cursor and volume commands in the Sony XBR-65X900F work properly on the tv, though. This remote also gives the FLIRC USB receiver software issues, where it's unable to learn the long press. Any suggestions @jason? I successfully control XIAOMI TV A 2025 with Skip 1s and Flirc USB. The problem is only the command "ON and OFF"! Maybe we could get a device, "IR receiver and Bluetooth transmitter" just for the desired command!

As per title, is there a code I can use or file that I can import please? As I need to be able to set up the remote without being in front of the TV to test numerous codes as the TV is in a different location to the TV. Cheers

I want to have an ultimate set up on Steam Deck but it has been very difficult. The AppImage unistalls after every rebbot and Xbox or Keybindings are impossible to do with the Skip1s and the app, top my knowledge. please help

After following the 'Add Activity'> Add Device> Record Now wizard steps to create and record the IR button functions from a device not yet found in the database, the recorded device fails to appear in the Model list (after searching the previously entered Brand). The specific device is a matrix 4x4 HDMI switcher offered by Portta, but attempting this process with other unlisted devices elicits the same result. As the title suggests, I was trying to record/learn the remote functions of a Dreo 513s fan and all of the buttons fail. I hold the button down, it goes green and then it says "try again". When I do, it says something along the lines of "This button will not work, but our team will be notified into this. Let's skip this button for now" and that message is displayed for every button on the remote. I'm on the latest RC version of firmware and skip software.

Hi, I got my remote a couple of days ago, I've had a play with it and I've hit an issue... I can't get the remote to control my Samsung TV (the Samsung soundbar and roku work fine). It only toggles the power about once in every 10 - 20 times and none of the other buttons work at all (i.e arrows, guide, etc), I suspect the remote code is wrong, but I've tried all the samsung TV options. I have double checked and it's definitely an IR remote. Any tips / suggestions?

Hello! I recently got a Telefunken XF32N750M TV. Its remote seems to be Code Group 3 because some buttons work when using that, but my original remote has a lot more buttons like "RECORD" or "EPG" for example. To be able to use these additional buttons, I recorded the buttons of the whole original remote on a Debian machine (the Skip app does work there, some GUI quirks). You can find the generated json attached. Although the recording was accepted by the App and could be seen in the admin tab, I couldn't choose it in the wizard, it just didn't show up. I deleted the recorded profile in the admin tab and tried to re-import it, but the app said there was some err…

Hello everyone! I just received a new TV-box (Arris VIP5702W-TN) from my TV provider and I'm having some trouble adding it to my Skip remote. I was hoping to find it in the list of existing devices but when I saw it wasn't there I tried to record the buttons that I needed. I can start to record without a problem but the only buttons that gives me any result are volume up and down. I think I am using the latest version of the software and firmware. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
