The TCL Code Group 1 (TV) works well, apart from My TV remote does not have separate buttons for sources and the HDMI buttons do not work, I have 1 button that brings up a display of attached sources, and you pick from there. I cannot see this button as an option.

Any news on this currently have to use my TV remote which pretty much makes the skip pointless

That sounds like the TCL "Quick Menu" they have on models running Google TV. On my 55C655, the "INPUT SCROLL" command brings that up (like the input button on the original TCL remote), and "PICTURE" brings up the display and audio adjustment menu (like the 3 horizontal line button on the original remote).

I'm working on a post to show which commands worked with that, but what I can say is that there weren't any keys that could control media playback or switch directly to specific inputs, however I may check TCL's support website to see if they have a list of supported control commands (sort of like what LG have).
