I think the setup wizard could use some polishing, as there's no questions about what input you need to be on for any of the activities when you first set them up. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the wizard had completely left those out. Hi, First of all, I love my new remote. I was able to set it up so well I was able to pull the batteries out of my TV's and soundbar's one as wel being able to perfectly handle my HTPC and turning everything off and on. This something strange happened. This noon I had to tweak a little bit of settings. Since I don't have a windows PC I had to go to my grandma and than drive half an hour home. Hi, I have a smart TV and a Satellite STB Some actions require the remote to navigate the STB some the TV I want to be able to navigate the TV menus for Disney+ or netflix, then swap to the recordings on the STB. can I set a button to toggle the control between the STB and TV? this would be for the menu / home button and the D pad and select.

I absolutely love the Skip 1S. Building a new hardware remote is hard. Making an interface to that remote that is easy to use is really hard. I know, I've tried. Please take my observations with nothing but respect for the work you've done. General: I love that you can export your remote configuration to a JSON file. This is hugely powerful, beyond troubleshooting. Everything is right there in plain text glory. With access to the configuration I could Clone an activity. I exported the remote configuration, opened it up in VSCode, copied the A activity entry, updated the Activity ID to B, reimported, and it just worked. Change the color…

I downloaded the Windows software for the Skip and I have nothing to open it with to install. Does the Skip support Windows 7 or will I have to install a new OS to use it? Thanks.

I just wanted to say thank you for making a great remote!! I've purchased 3(so far) and am extremely impressed. They will be replacing Harmony devices. The one thing that really blew me away was the fact that the Skip 1s was able to power off my 75" Sony TV where the Harmony would not work at all even after learning from the Sony remote. I do have one feature request for SkipApp. Please add a menu to switch between different remote profiles, as in Living Room Remote, Bedroom Remote, Family Room Remote, Office Remote, etc. I'm using it on my Mac Mini M1 and don't see a way to switch at this time.

Apologies, but I'm unable to find any reference to assigning simple keystrokes (such as the letter "A" or "W") to the buttons on the remote. Is this not possible, or am I missing something?

Hi, I just found out about this today, went over your Kickstarter (great video) and YouTube videos. Here are my 2 cents: Why do you hate the Stop button? I have seen this on a few new universal remotes that have come out since Logitech killed Harmony, and it has been a common complaint from prospective buyers. There are instances where the Back button simply can't take that roll. Eg, Kodi for Android/Android TV, the back button will keep the media playing, and simply go back into the menu, they will not allow the back button to function as Stop. You can't use a Flirc to simulate a Stop Button for an Nvidia Shield, as there is no keyboard command for it. Of cours…

Hi, I currently have an older FLIRC device connected to my HTPC and see that you guys are making a universal remote. I have a Harmony 665, but since Logitech discontinued their entire line, I was looking into a new one. How does one switch profiles/devices on this remote? I have 2 different rooms with 3 different receiving devices.
