Hello, I have problems with my harmony ultimate one and flirc. Play, pause, rewind, forward and stop doesn´t work with flirc. The record button has no function also the EPG Button. I´m working with flirc 1.3.4 and Firmware 3.4. Is there any posibilty to solve this problems? Sorry for my bad english :) Can anyone help me? sat

Hi All, Just spent about 3 hours struggling to get the driver installed on my very old Windows Vista 32 bit system. A tad frustrating but I did eventually find the key so thought I'd share. When I first installed the GUI and the drivers, all appeared well but after trying to pair my remote with the first key nothing worked, even after trying several remotes. My first clue that something was amiss was when I looked at the firmware version and saw that in the GUI it was labelled as v -16.-16. That didn't sound right! I just got a Flirc, and am trying to make it work with a Harmony 700. Given that the Flirc website advertises the PS3 as one of the supported devices for the Flirc, I'm a bit surprised that I couldn't find any tutorial or dedicated configuration for the PS3. Did I miss something?

Hello all, If you get sometimes phatoms or repeated key press from OpenElec try just to change your XBMC TV resolution to 60Hz instead of 50Hz ! For me this is the only permanent fix for getting Flirc usable with my RPi and my Phillips Full HD TV... Hope this will help. 6 monthes to find this tip ! Enjoy Edited : Do Not Work !

Today I setup Flirc for my Windows 7 HTPC with Kodi to work with a Logitech Harmony 300 programmable remote control. I also have a Raspberry Pi running openELEC and I was hoping that I could use the same Flirc and remote with the RPi without too much difficulty. I discovered that setup with the Logitech remote could not have been easier. Everything is working perfectly on both the Windows and the OpenELEC machines. I plugged the Flirc into the Windows machine and installed the Flirc software for Windows. After a reboot, I launched the My Harmony application to add a device. The input for manufacturer was Flirc and the input for model was XBMC (or Kodi, both words work…

Well, I've followed all the instructions I could find. I was able to install the flirc gui and program my remote (two different ones, for that matter). Each programming went smoothly. I removed the Flirc dongle from my Windows PC and plugged it into my Pi with RaspBMC on it. Rebooted the Pi. When Kodi finally launches on its own... I have no control. There is no communication between the Flirc and the remote. Everything worked beautifully up until the Flirc installation. Its the only thing holding me back! Thanks for any assistance.

I have a Win 8.1 PC with WMC and a Flirc with v0.96 (fw 255) running for a couple of year. It's located 4 hours from me but I use VNC over broadband to remote control thing. It's used by my parents. Because of endless with issues with Win 8.x and will temporary take their Win 7 desktop pc and use it for WMC. I must get flirc working in the Win 7 PC 32-bit but without upgrading to latest flirc versions and without config changes in the flirc Can I simply install the v0.96 from homepage on my Win 7 PC? Hi guys, Does anyone know how to power on a HP Microserver with a Harmony remote? I have a HP running Win 8.1 with a Flirc USB IR to use with Plex Home Theatre. I dont always have this on as I'm not home all the time so when I do want to watch something I just want to use the remote press power and have it all boot up to watch. I cant seem to find much on how to do this with the Harmony touch software with Flirc? any ideas? I tried to use the Keyboard part in Flirc software and use the Wake button, but when I press a button on remote to record it doesn't detect anything? Thanks

When I got my Flirc initially, I have setup the Harmony One for Flirc and XBMC, worked OK apart from the back button. hi, i just recently purchased the flirc and liked what i read about it and in some demos. Now comes a few questions. First i see the various controllers and how they can be used to quickly set something up, however how are the settings actually saved to the flirc? As i was loading different controllers and saw what they offered, of course i was thinking on using the XBMC controller and wanted to save that profile but when i hit the Save Configuration menu item and dialog window prompt came up for saving the config to the local hard drive. I'm using one remote, in part because Flirc allows me to map the keys on my one remote to keyboard values. It's a manufacturer's TV remote. I've mapped the up/down/left/right/enter/back buttons on this remote to the appropriate keyboard keys using Flirc. That works well. The problem is that I will use these remote buttons for the TV from time to time. The buttons are not exclusive to my use on the computer. I suspect I'm not the only person with this situation. What I don't want is be pressing keys on the computer when I'm using the TV remote for other purposes. Is there a way to temporarily disable Flirc from translating IR signals into key presses? Lets assume I have a windows pc with XBMC. I want to add it via the keyboard controller keys combination (ctrl+alt+M for instance) that will launch some hotkey shortcut (For example will open XBMC or run some script, whatever..). Programmed the XBOX3360 remote just fine but when I press the cursor keys I get erratic behaviour - Sometimes I get the one press OK sometimes I get no presses at all and sometimes I get two presses as the xbmc cursor jumps twice... How do I fix it?

Hi, it'll be a great help if someone post this kind of howto. It's a pain to try to find keys between the GUI keyboard and a foreign one (like AZERTY french for me). I've try many things like: 1 - a simple equivalence mapping, it's working for "simple" ones like Q for A but not for more complex ones like /*+ ... 2 - config my locale on us keyboard (I'm on GNU/Linux), the map respond good but bad when you come back to your original local keyboard. 3 - have fun to map every GUI keys on with my remote controller and test it in an editor to find mapping. Hi, I bought a flirc recently and I love it, however in the last few days its giving more consistent problems. I always have the flirc plugged into the same USB port. My flirc firmware is 3.0 and using Windows 7 Ultimate 1. when the pc just boots up I expect the flirc to work right away, and from the last used configuration. However it won't respond until I manually launch the flirc software. Sometimes I even have to manually load my saved config to have it working. Hello. I have a bash script I run manually to kill chrome launcher on XBMC, lets call it killme.sh Is there any way to run this via flirc ? I dont mind renaming it and placing it in (for example) /usr/bin/ so I could call it 3 and chmod +x 3 Would I then be able to run it by pressing "3" on the remote ? Any hints or tips would be great.

Hi, I've replaced my ATV3 with a FireTV. I've used Flirc and kept the ATV profile on the Harmony as the buttons are quite similar. All works well except the play/pause button. The ATV profile has separate play and pause buttons whereas the fire tv has just the one dual purpose. I though no problem I'll just use the play button but this is not working. The Firetv sees the press but it does nothing or its seeing a double press. Any ideas? is there a better Harmony 1100 profile to use?
