When will it be possible to learn buttons from custom remotes? I hope this will be added very soon.

It's high on our list. Probably the top wish list item of the team itself. Can't really give an ETA beyond that right now.

As soon as we sort out some of the kinks with windows, we will return to some of these features.

I think this is going to be the most important, so we can do reverse look-ups and help users find codes in the database.

Howdy! Just got my Skip today, and literally none of my devices are in the database:

  1. Roku Premier (model 3920X)
  2. Yamaha amplifier (model  RX-V477 -- there were several that might be relevant, but haven't a clue what "main zone" vs "zone 1" is--are these geographic zones, like blu-ray?)
  3. Sony Blu-Ray player (model BDP-S1500)
  4. BenQ projector (model TH575--I clicked "test device" and it did nothing)

Please prioritize this feature. I suspect others will be in the same boat.

These are definitely in there, not under their specific model. Just search for the brand as the brand uses same codes across models.

Any of these will probably work for Roku:

This will work for blue ray:

Etc. Make sure you have the right category. And if you are not sure, go to Aux, it contains them all.

Thanks for the assist, @jason !

I had to try several different BenQ projector recipes before one worked ("Code group 1").

Similar experience for the Yamaha amp ("RXA/RXV Series Main Zone 2011 to Present (Receiver/Preamp)" worked)

None of the Sony Blu-Ray recipes worked.

Also: please fix your dropdowns (at least on Windows). Clicking "test" and having the device fail to start, and then having to click the X and then re-scroll seven pages down to just try the next option is pretty abysmal UX.

We have a big improvement in the wizard coming for this. I agree, it's not good. Are you only missing your Blue Ray player now?
