I'm using macOS 13.4.1 and wanted to check the Admin Mode Your suggested Terminal command returns "zsh No such File or Directory" when I use --- Mac Instructions: In a terminal: echo -e "{\n \"showAdminPanel\": true\n}" > ~/.config/SkipApp/config.json --- I turned on Show Hidden files and my home directory is devoid of any /.config subfolder. Where else to look? qb
  2. I use a Mac and note that the Skip app's "Quit Skip App" menu command has the "CMD-Q" keystroke greyed out. Any reasoning behind this at this time??? qb
  3. I have two laptops that get moved around so I may use either one at any particular time. Logitech Harmony app allowed me to either of the 2 Harmony remotes I owned to either of my laptops to modify programming. I believe it is based on signing into my account. I expected to find the similar ability with the Spike 1S and its Skip app. Appears not as my already named / programmed "Sunroom" remote needs to be named and setup from scratch on my other laptop. As slick as the 1S is I hope the ability to read the configuration FROM the remote will be added ASAP. Or a way to cloud synchronize the setups thx qb

  5. I was not a Kickstarted. I never signed up to be a beta testers so please, no one tell me I should have expected so many missing GUI features. I have used and "liked" (not loved) numerous Logitech Harmony remotes and their software over the past 15 years or so. I would have hoped Flirc staff extensively USED Harmony remotes as they developed their Skip app. I've seen similar complaints, err, comments in the forum: I have 3 simple activities -Apple TV - turn on my Yamaha A/V receivers, set to HDMI4, turn on my LG TV (it always uses HDMI1), turn on the AppleTV HD - TiVo - turn on my Yamaha A/V, set to HDMI2, turn on the LG TV - BluRay - turn my LG BluRay, turn on the Yamaha A/V and set to HDMI3, turn on the LG TV ---- Biggest issue I and others have is how to get my Yamaha A/V to change HDMI inputs...??? The Yamaha is a RX-V773 and from 2013. If is set the RX-V773 up as adding an AUDIO device I see only the RX-V1000 offered. Using those in testing does not get me the option for selecting buttons like HDMI1, HDMI2, etc. Does not work If I set the RX-V773 up as adding an A/V I get more choices - RX items for pre-2009, after 2011, etc. What a mess. I select "RXA/RXV Series Main Zone 2011 to present and the rest of the info vanishes off the right side of the column..." (example of interface issues). Still I don't get HDMI1, HDMI2, etc to assign to buttons. I could rant about far more issues but if someone can point me to how to change HDMI inputs on the Yamaha then I'll come back with other needs. BTW - I know how to use the Button Panel to add steps to the Power button itself - but I cannot find any HDMI1,2,3,4 to drag there from my Yamaha. thx qb

  7. Hello Nathan - I don't own/use a mobile phone. I don't Faceplant, Message, etc. you are "flirc.tv" right? That part of your site certainly uses recaptcha for login. See the screen capture I just grabbed.Although it was NOT in the bottom right before - it was to the left of when I wanted to create an account. I bumped into captcha everywhere I went on the site the other day. Now it seems less prevalent. As I submitted a help request can you/we do this via email? If nothing else I can have my charge card cancel the order - as I did get billed for it.

I just used my Remote Buddy discount in an attempt to order a Flirc USB Got to clicking the final purchase then the www site stuck at "Loading" However I GOT the email from my credit card that I had been charged the $14+ amount I need a confirmation you received the order and will process/ship. Plus - big issue where you www pages have "Error for site owner invalid domain for site key" for the reCaptcha. Bet I cannot submit this support request as I cannot prove I am human. Fails to even allow me to Create an Account. EDIT: the mention of submitting the support request - I tried using your Support form but could not Captcha so I copied my (attempted) submission and pasted it here.
