erikbp
What is the device the harmony is set as when controlling Flirc? I'm using a Sony kdl-46hx855.
Cathodoluminescence
Similar problem here. I have installed with the zadig tool, but when I want to bind my apple remote buttons to a function, it just works for one button. For the next one Flirc tells me that this button already exists... Edit: Ok, I just made a fool out of me. Zadig or installation via temporarly deactivating driver signature enforcment works perfectly well. And there is also no problem that one can't assign different keys (I just hadn't realisied that the remote button configuration is saved on the flirc stick). So everything is fine, will move on to beta firmware testing...
Cheule
Same problem here, cannot install using Windows 8 64bit. Copied Jason's drivers to the HDD and pointed Win8 to it, but it says driver not available.
Cathodoluminescence
I just tested my flirc with another machine (Win7 x64), and there it works perfectly well. I can assign all functions to the right buttons on my apple remote (v2). Apparantly it is a driver issue. Could the driver transport/translate the different IR commands wrongly so that for the software all incoming signals (from the remote or more likely from the flirc itself) appear the same? (I have the problem that apparantly the flirc software interprets all buttons of my remote as the same, see above). Edit: Ok, I just made a fool out of me. Zadig or installation via temporarly deactivating driver signature enforcment works perfectly well. And there is also no problem that one can't assign different keys (I just hadn't realisied that the remote button configuration is saved on the flirc stick). Rumik
I have managed to get the drivers installed, but I still can't install the software itself to configure flirc. Is the software itself available without the driver install? thanks

Chris!
I have managed to get the drivers installed, but I still can't install the software itself to configure flirc. Is the software itself available without the driver install? thanks I'm not strong on windows 8 but is the software accessible through windowed mode? If not I would like to hear how others are doing it
Rumik
Not sure what you mean by that, tbh. Maybe someone could zip up their install directory and post it for me? I'd appreciate it!
jason
Download the latest release here: http://www.flirc.tv/downloads_windows/ Then, if needed, install the zadig tool again to override the driver.
Rumik
The installer won't get as far as installing the software as it always fails on the driver installation.
Cathodoluminescence
@Rumik: Same here - but see, if the software isn't installed anyway. I used the zadig tool, then tried to install the flirc software which of course yielded back an error about installing the driver. However, the software itself was copied to the installation path (c:\.......). If this works for you too, it would be interesting to know what kind of remote you use and if you also have problems about assigning buttons or double key presses... Edit: Ok, I just made a fool out of me. Zadig or installation via temporarly deactivating driver signature enforcment works perfectly well. And there is also no problem that one can't assign different keys (I just hadn't realisied that the remote button configuration is saved on the flirc stick).
