JeroenED Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 Hi, is there any way to download the latest firmware (the .bin file) and upload it to the device manually? I tried to do it through the app using the instructions of pulling the battery out and the pushing the center and return buttons but I'm not getting any firmware update and am stuck on 4.12.18. Attached you can find logs of the skip app. I hope they might clear out why it does not want to provide an update. flirc20241230.log Quote
coderasm Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 I have what appears to be this problem here: My remote behaves dead when pressing buttons, but the batteries work in other remotes. I am stuck on fw 4.12.18. I tried the steps in the linked post to force a firmware update, but it does not work. Is there any thought about placing direct firmware updating into the UI of the app? I can upload a fw file to my router and click a button to write the firmware. Can we get that ability in the app? Quote
