I don't know why I did that. I attached the wrong codes. Here is the correct one.

Ya sorry, I'm really trying here, but either the app is very poorly laid out, or I'm having some significant UI issues running this "portable" appimage thing that prevent me from interacting / seeing things the way you intend.
I'm not seeing the same button panel that you have in the user guide, and "draw a circle"... around what?
Oh cool! You are using the linux image. That's awesome. Yeah the tips panel is broken. We are going to fix it so after the wizard, you are shown how to edit the activity. Check this out.

You can manually add these when you edit your activity

thank you so much. I'll schedule this in our tasks.

Thanks. I can import this config by enabling the admin panel, and going to Config->Open Config file ?
I tried doing that but clicking on "Open config file" does nothing for me, likely due to there being some significant UI rendering/usability issues (that I emailed you about)... Is there some other way I can import this into the app to try it?
In the admin panels, go to the brands tab. Add from there.

Sorry for the delay. Try the attached.

This is an awesome find. I have a script that will convert this into a skip json for you to try. I think I see the issue, but this is certainly a pretty simple path. be back in a bit.

Offcourse a tool which allows training the device with custom hex codes would be awesome :)
try irtools.exe/irtools
Ships on every platform and can output a number of different formats and has decoders.
As we jump into learning/decoding/etc, I will be extending our tools and most likely making them public. This is what we are working on: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/vu3dxznffmjk069wjht9c/walk-through-recording.mp4?rlkey=foi48kn5gducs10g7bxcqip65&dl=0 -

Hi,
Was looking to purchase a Flirc USB to use with a Harmony Hub, and wanted to check that should be ok? I've seen mention of Harmony remotes, but not he Harmony Hub.
I'm looking to be able to control a HTPC running Windows 10, Kodi, and MPC-BE. Assuming I may need to use the full keyboard option to be able to control both Kodi and MPC-BE?
Cheers
Yeah. For sure

Sometimes those dish receivers are made by Cisco, or some other brand. Check the bottom, it's probably on a sticker somewhere. There might even be two manufacturers. Please let us know.

We are working on learning right now. It's no longer being pushed back, it's active in our sprints. I don't have a timeline yet. We have the app in a great spot in terms of bugs, performance, flexibility. This is now our focus.
In the mean time, I'm debugging denon devices at the moment. Can you give me the model of your device?

I started looking at this. I'll have an update soon. I'm trying to figure out if there is something wrong with my codes or the frequency.

You only have support for Emotiva Xmc-1. It would be nice to choose Xmc-2 since it does have 2 buttons that are different than the Xmc-1.
Yeah, I'll help add this. Give me a couple days.

I got last week a Flirc USB. In one PC it seems to work (I was able to map some of my old trusty PS2 dvd remote). I had trouble mapping the play and pause keys, but mostly it seemed to work. I'm gonna use it with Kodi, so I really don't need all the buttons mapped anyway.
However, i unplugged it from my personal PC and put it in my living room one, where I have Kody installed and I watch stuff. In that PC, I open Flirc GUI and it detects the dongle. I seem to be able to map keys (I click with the mouse in the one I want, it waits for me to press the button in the remote and, once I do, the key stops blinking). The thing is that once mapped, they don't work. None of them. Not inside the GUI nor any place in Windows.
It seems to be detected as an HID in the device manager. I'm truly lost :S
You don’t need the app where you are going to use the device. Close the gui and try.
If you try and pair a button again, does it work? What if you do it on the computer in the target room?
-
You should not need model specific devices. Most Toshiba's use the same TV codes.
Add a TV, and add brand: "Toshiba", "Most Models (TV)"You can also test any one of those if your remote is connected.

Ignore the first file, removing. That had some bugs. Attaching a new one:
Follow the instructions outlined here:

Awesome. Thanks for the quick feedback. I just published an update and included these codes.
You can grab the latest on the downloads. We are working on auto updates for Linux in the next release. Hopefully within a couple weeks.
