  2. Hi I have a Cox Contour set-top box, but the remote is not working with it even after selecting it as the input. Is there any way to fix this?
  3. Awesome, everything appears to work. Thank you.
  4. Hi, after freeze in firmware update, die Flirc USB dongle seems bricked. Installed flirc setup in guest windows 10 in an qemu/kvm guest system on host Linux system (Debian 12). Tried to configure the dongle. Seemed fine, minimal setup, signed the keys etc. Tried the dongle in host Linux system. Didn't work. Back to guest Windows on host Linux. Accepted the suggestion for a firmware upgrade. The upgrade stuck. Canceled after 40 minutes. After that, the dongle was no longer recognized under Windows. In Linux lsusb shows the dongle. Then installed flirc in host Linux. The program starts without a dongle. When the dongle is inserted, the program crashes. Error message: lib/libflirc/bootloader/bl_3.3.c fl_sku(115): not a valid image So, how to get it work. Greetings from Hamburg/Germany Lutz
  5. OK... ytsejam1138, thank you for your advice. I just tried the 0.9.968-beta. Expected a firmware update. On a Windows 10 64-bit machine that never saw Steam. No firmware update. Neither way. I might mention I tried to set up MacOs BigSur in a VirtualBox in the past days. Mac App doesn't even start, something others see to have experienced too. Could one of the forum administrators please have a brief look into my problem? Give me a hint what to look for. Or consider my suggestion to post a setup that works for sure? Or do I have to assume that you shipped remotes that... simply... can't be updated? Thank you in advance!
  6. Hi, I've tried for few month now to use de "back" button of the skip 1s remote on my TCL TV (TCL 50C715). It didn't work. The skip 1s remote work perfectly, except for this "back" button. So I have to keep my TV remote close in case I have to use the "back" button, and it's a pity. I've just update skip app to 0.9.968 to see that we can now record IR signal from a remote. I've already tried this with alphas versions but it didn't work. With this knew version I can't make it work neither for my TV, when I try to record the IR signal from my tv remote, I have an error. Is there a way for me to make work the "back" function with the Skip 1s using preconfigured options for TCL group 1 or using IR learning function ? Thanks for your help.

  8. Same there. If somebody finds a solution, please let us know.
  9. I've been looking for a replacement for my Harmony Hub and this sounds perfect.. .. except 2 things. I can't quite find a definitive answers, lots of "in the future" comments. 1) Does it support Long Press as alternate action on buttons? The reason is that I need a few extra quick access keys including Subtitles On / Off and Audio Track change. 2) Does it support more than 2 activities? I need 4, long press on the activities button would be fine if that works?
  10. If it’s not detected by the computer, there isn’t much we can do. It was probably low on battery and just hung, regardless of having a new battery or power source.
  11. Just to update, mine had been fine on Tuesday this week with the same new batteries from my last post May 3rd - it'd been behaving really well! Came to use it today, and no response from it - connected to PC with USB, and STILL no response - windows did not acknowledge a USB connection, and the app shows Offline... Then, to try something different - I swapped the batteries whilst it was connected to USB - and re-plugged - and STILL no response. I now have it in a state where it has new batteries, and is not responding whilst unplugged or plugged to the PC... @jason - is there anything I can do whilst it is in this state to help debug?
  12. I have exactly this problem but using a harman kardan amp. I have added switching the inputs in the power on sequence but nothing is happening. I have also programmed a couple of the number buttons to switch to the inputs and they work fine, so it's something in the power-on sequence that is the problem. I have switching HDMI channel last but I note that for some reason it doesn't have a delay option (unlike the power on/toggle for my 3 devices that all can have a delay). Very frustrating
  13. This is what is missing for me, just to have an action triggered when pressing the activity buttons, so we can switch the inputs (and other things people might need to switch!). I have two activities A) TV+Roku box on HDMI 1, and B) TV+Kodi box on HDMI 2. My TV remote has specific input commands, so would be ideal to just add the 'input HDMI 1' button to the activity A button, and 'input HDMI 2' button to activity B button. Would help family acceptance as it would be so simple to switch, without needing workarounds with having to switch activity then press another button to switch input..
  14. We posted another update today that should autodetect and correct this. Mac v0.9.968 Linux v0.9.968 Windows v0.9.968 These are also on the front page of the website. So very sorry for those seeing this issue.
  15. Latest version v0.9.967-Beta works fine. Tested on Windows 11. Thank you very much. JiRo
  16. Sorry, makes sure you are on the latest: Windows v0.9.967 Linux v0.9.967 Mac v0.9.967

  18. Agree with this sentiment, this coating should be banned, it turns into chewing gum after a few years. I've just noticed this on my FLIRC Pi 3 case, I purchased because of the premium design but it just looks tacky now unfortunately. I'd even pay for replacements if they were available.
  19. Unfortunately, still the same status, nothing has changed. Maybe some sort of cache on the server side?
  20. I'm having trouble finding reference to these. Do you have a link I can take a look at?
  21. we spotted the issue and pushed a fix. Try removing the device and re-adding. Let me know if that works.
  22. Those are the key codes in ADB that activate one of 8 apps. input keyevent 289
  23. Thanks for the response. I use Skip App on Windows 11. I've tried that several times. Deleted and recreated the third activity, deleted and added the Samsung TV device and always with the same result. I even tried adding another device (Flirc) to the third activity (Media Centre PC 2) and the commands for it work fine. Here, for example, you can see both commands (for TV and Flirc) for turning on the third activity, and you can see that while TV has the "eee" protocol, Flirc has "PRONTO". { "id": "a8e5198ec0b", "deviceModelId": 7523, "position": 3, "device": "77fac048c98", "icon": "/", "iconColor": { "value": "#FF9DE9" }, "actionId": "8e5198ec0bd", "label": "CONTEXT MENU", "protocol": "PRONTO", "code": "0000,006D,0013,0000,00BC,00BC,0020,0040,0020,0040,0020,0040,0020,0020,0020,0040,0020,0040,0020,0040,0020,00A7,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0040,0040,0040,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0020,0040,03CD", "repeat": 1, "up": true, "isDragging": false, "action": "56" }, { "id": "76dfe7988e9", "deviceModelId": 595, "position": 4, "device": "6d319824c90", "icon": "1", "iconColor": { "value": "#FF9800", "isSelected": false, "isDisabled": false }, "actionId": "6dfe7988e9e", "label": "POWER ON", "protocol": "eee", "code": "eeecheeeggeÉeoieseaeeseaeeseaeesed`esed`esed`esed`esed`eseaeeseaeeseaeesed`esed`esed`esed`esed`eseaeesed`esed`eseaeeseaeesed`esed`eseaeesed`eseaeeseaeesed`esed`eseaeeseaeesed`ese\u0014i", "repeat": 1, "up": true, "isDragging": false, "action": "0" } MEDIA Test 3.skip
  24. I'm really sorry, I don't think it will work on a mac that far back. I tried a bit today and couldn't get it to compile on one. It's something we can look to in the future, but honestly, I'm so far behind on everything, I don't think it'll be anytime soon.
  25. Holy shit, where did the one for the third activity come from? Was that from the wizard? If you delete it and add the same device again, do you get the same thing? Which OS was this in? It's completely corrupt.
