I inquired about the functionality of Flirc with the Apple remote before purchasing and received several assurances of compatibility, so I was a little surprised to see that no Apple remote option is listed in the Mac app controller list.

Running firmware 4.9.3 and the Mac app I’ve only been able to get the directional buttons on the wheel to work using the minimalist controller setting. 

I’m only using the remote with VLC. Does anyone know how the pause/play (spacebar function) and enter buttons can be set correctly?

    I have the same problem with Apple Remote. Which controller setting (aside from Minimalist) should I use to get FULL functionality from my remote (esp. Menu and Play/Pause buttons)?

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.

    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
