I'm using the "AVR-X6400H" which exists in the admin section correctly controls most of the unit. Bryce Leo Posted September 2, 2023 Author Report Share Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) Also while going through this I really with that under Tools for the admin stuff there was a way to paste in a pronto code and have the remote send it. That would be fantastic right now while I'm trying all different ways of generating pronto codes from sharp codes and having to add/remove and then add the key and trigger it manually. Another thing I'm wishing for is that I could have multiple devices of the same type on an activity. I can add the other denon to the activity but after completing it just disappears. It was kind of kludgey but I was able to save a config using the other denon's button and pull the pronto code into the manual "AVR-X6400H" config. Why can I only assign a command to a max of 3 buttons. If i created a config with 7 different names for same pronto code I could essentially assign the same button 21 times. Why not just let me assign it an absurdly high number of times like 10 or 15? Is there any plans to make the Remote Programming software open source? I peeped through the github and didn't see it. This has been an incredible relief overall. This certainly has the promise to become as good as my beloved Harmony and is 80000x better than that absolute dogwater SofaBaton heap of garbage. Thanks for creating this product. I feel like if you've got amazon fulfillment, may as well have it listed on amazon as well? We've been trying to improve things a lot and are nearly done with the learning portion, which was a technical marathon. I don't have any intentions of going open source, although, I will publish my libraries and a bunch of sample apps. So you can create your own, similar to the flirc USB. The wizard is next on the list once we are done with learning. While that's going on, I'm going to be working on smart activity switching. Yes, once I'm happier with the maturity of software, I'm going to get this on Amazon. Although our database is commercially licensed, as you can see, the 'one size' fits all device approach isn't great. I don't want it on amazon and spending 90% of my time with 'help, I can't find my device'.
