Endicot Posted April 9, 2018 Report Posted April 9, 2018 Love the case. My question is swapping/replacing boards in the case. I have the 2nd gen case with a RPI Model 3B, I want to swap it out and with a Model 3B+. I hear the thermal pad will need to be replaced with a thinner pad. Where can I get thermal pads for both Model 3B or Model 3B+ (I live in Canada)? What should I be looking for? P.s. I not much of a hardware guy, so I don't have any experience with Thermal Paste/Grease. Is this a good alternative? Please advise. Quote
jason Posted April 9, 2018 Report Posted April 9, 2018 If you're in the US, PM me, if not, email my distributor at thepihut.com and he'll help you out. Quote

AhnFire Posted September 14, 2018 Report Posted September 14, 2018 Hi, I am in the US and I am looking to do the same. Upgrading 3 FLIRC/PI setups from 3B to 3B+. I am in the US, how can I acquire 3 pads? Quote
RedlineMods Posted January 14, 2019 Report Posted January 14, 2019 Looking for some 3B+ pads also. How do I get some? I have two 3B+ running without pad right now. Quote
garmon Posted April 7, 2019 Report Posted April 7, 2019 Just curious, what are the correct thicknesses of the thermal pads for 3B & 3B+ ? I want to see if a piece I have is the right thickness. Quote
