deleteMe Posted October 26, 2016 Report Posted October 26, 2016 Hi! I've installed a Streacom FLIRC-SE in my new HTPC. The system is Linux Mint 18, with AMD A10-6700T, 4 GB of RAM and 260 GB of HDD. The MB is an MSI A88XM-E35 V2. I've installed the system with mouse and keyboard, with no problem: now I plug the receiver in the board (USB3 port), the blue LED is on (even too much!), the power switch works, but the system not detect the receiver.I installed the GUI to program the keys, but It says "Disconnected" right lower, with the angry Flirc face. What I would try? Quote
jason Posted October 26, 2016 Report Posted October 26, 2016 can you provide the output of lsusb? Quote
yawor Posted October 26, 2016 Report Posted October 26, 2016 Make sure that all USB ports are enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings. The LED being on doesn't mean that the port is active (the +5v line may be active even if the port is disabled). Quote
