Flirc case problem - screws too short

Please help.

 

I received my Flirs case today and discovered that the 8mm screws that were included are too short to engage any threads. I can leave off the Flirc's base and simply screw my RPi B+ to the top of the case but once the base is added the screws don't match.

 

I think the screws need to be around 11-12mm in order to engage the threads.

It's a problem with the cases, and I'll send you a new one.

 

It's a problem on the manufacturing line that effects a small portion of cases. I'm still working with them to better identify it. Very sorry for the inconvenience

Hi Jason, I ordered mine through Amazon & have the same issue as described.  Amazon currently doesn't have any in stock to replace.

Jason, I got my replacement case the other day & the screws went in with no problems this time.  As Whiznot said, thank you so much for the very fast delivery of the replacement!!  I love the sturdy design of the case.
