Imagewerx Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) I'm using my Flirc with a pre-written configuration with an OpenPeak Joggler that does everything I want it to apart from the power button.By this I mean the one that puts it into standby,i.e. pauses playback and switches the screen off.It won't take manual teaching of the power button either,is there a particular reason this one function doesn't work when all others do? I'm using a Logitech Squeezebox remote to teach it with which works with all the other functions, but not the main power switch. Edited September 26, 2014 by Imagewerx Quote
jason Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Use the media center keys in the GUI to do the pairing. See the attached. Sincerely, Jason Quote
Imagewerx Posted September 26, 2014 Author Report Posted September 26, 2014 Thanks for the answer,I did try that but will give it another go. Another question, will it still work if I have two Flircs plugged into one device? Quote
jason Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 yes, as long as they have different remotes paired, otherwise you'll get double key's paired. Make sure you're on the latest firmware, 3.0, and that you have sleep detection enabled in the Advanced settings menu of my GUI. Quote
Imagewerx Posted September 27, 2014 Author Report Posted September 27, 2014 All updated, but still doesn't work as it brings up the alarm clock from the power button. Quote
Imagewerx Posted October 2, 2014 Author Report Posted October 2, 2014 Any thoughts on this please, still not able to get this working? Quote
Imagewerx Posted October 5, 2014 Author Report Posted October 5, 2014 Ok so no answer for a week now,is there any point asking if it's possible to go back to the original firmware as this one doesn't work as well as the old one? Quote
jason Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 what power button are you referring too? On my GUI? Which button? Quote
Imagewerx Posted October 5, 2014 Author Report Posted October 5, 2014 The power button on the media keys part of the GUI.I managed to get it working in the end using the Q on the full keyboard part of the GUI.But before the update it would respond on the first press, now it takes a couple or even three before it responds, hence my wish to go back to the original version.
