There is a lot of very old and somewhat conflicting info out there. Programming Flirc with a Harmony IR remote (665 in my case) to use a Shield TV Pro is super easy.

Install the flirc software just to update the firmware on flirc itself. But you don't need to do anything else.

In the Myharmony software, add a device and for manufacturer you select Flirc and for model, use Shield TV. And you're done! No learning necessary - it works that easily.
