With the L shaped PoE hat for the Raspberry Pi 5, would it be possible to add PoE HAT compatibility to the FLIRC Raspberry Pi 5 case? It should be able to get around the aluminum that comes down to the SOCs. This has been a wish list item for me for a while now.

I'm trying to work with the pi foundation to ensure compatibility.

I have a similar question. I am looking for an excuse to update my Pi 4 to a new Pi5 and POE is essential for me.

How about replacing the black covers of the case to support both pcie mvme ssd(s) and PoE? these can be either included with new cases or sold as upgrades? Also, could the case be used to cool an ssd as it cools the SOC without modifying the aluminum part?

Since no one has given any definitive answer yet, I guess the official answer must be no.
If it does not fit, one can always take a dremel-angle-grinder and remove some heat-sink on one side...
