SirShaManIX Posted July 16, 2014 Report Posted July 16, 2014 Hi I'm just wondering if I connect the Flirc to my Boxee, will it be able to start the Boxee when it's shut down? Basically just like the RF-remote for Boxee is able to do today. The Boxee is powered of and at the press of a button on the RF-remote the Boxee starts. Can the Flirc do the same thing but with IR? Or do I have to start the Boxee with the button on the Boxee (or via the RF-remote) and then be able to control it with the Flirc? Thanks in advance Quote
jason Posted July 16, 2014 Report Posted July 16, 2014 Unless they are doing something proprietary, they have to be in a sleep state, if they are, then yes, it's possible. Quote
SirShaManIX Posted July 16, 2014 Author Report Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) I don't think the Boxee even has a sleep mode :/ But I'm not sure. Have to look it up. Thank you. Edited July 16, 2014 by SirShaManIX Quote
