clayton
When attempting to download the Linux version of the skip app, I am prompted for a username/password. The url is https://update.flirc.tv/skipapp/nightly/0.9.80.6117/SkipApp-0.9.80.6117-Nightly-x64.AppImage?=skipAppUpdate Also, is the source code for the app available for inspection / building locally?
Brayden P
The latest update as far as I know is still "Linux support is planned" not sure why the pink is on the page if it's not actually publicly available. Seems like a mistake to me but I don't know. Though the link text does give some indication that it will be an appimage when it is released. Interesting. SegmentsOfCode
Came here to the forums just to find this. Hopefully, they're able to get a working download out for Linux users soon. I'd even be happy to test.
blades
Well, the password seems to be removed now which is nice. Managed to install it easily enough under arch linux, but it doesn't recognise that the remote's connected in the software even though it does show up as "Bus 001 Device 009: ID 20a0:0008 Clay Logic Skip 1s" with the lsusb command.
