  1. I did not know this was possible. This is great!! Already backed up!
  2. correct. my tv is a pita so this has worked best for me, even with the Harnony. I did set activity C to be a "device" activity. I use the power on and power off to replicate the activity A power on. But I also set rewind to power on the TV, play to power on the cable box and FF to power toggle the sound bar. Basically used that row for power in the order I woudl turn things on so I can remember. Number 1 sets the TV to HDMI 1 and number 2 sets the TV to HMDI 2. I use activity C to adjust anything that needs adjusting that didn't get set right or turn on. ~Brian

Hi DK32207, I have a similar set up. tv, cable, roku and a sound bar. Activity A - watch cable Activity B - watch roku Activity C - device buttons Activity A: watch cable power on is set to turn on the TV, set the correct hdmi input, turn on cable box, power toggle the sound bar. power off is set to turn the tv off, tun cable box off, power toggle the sound bar the vilume buttons control teh sound bar and the rest control the cable box Activity B: watch roku power on is programmed to change the tv hdmi. I do not alter the sound bar input as all sound comes from the tv, but you could add it here as well power off is programmed to change the tv hdmi back to watch cable. volume buttons control the sound bar and th rest control the roku Since I do have some issues with the tv, I programmed buttons to help when the hdmi doesnt get set right or the power doesnt turn on. for activity C, Power up does the same thing as activity A power up Rewind is set to power on the TV Play powers on the cable box, fast forward power toggles the sound bar 1 sets the tv to hdmi 1 2 sets the tv to hdmi 2 I could have used the secondary activity buttons in activity A and/or B, but I found it easier to use activity c. I always power everything on and off from watching cable because my Sony TV is peculiar and it works better for me. I have found this remote to work better than my Harmony at this point. Programming is very similiar, just a different UI.
  4. Hey Dean, I am coming from the Harmony one. this can do what you want. Using the app, you can program the power button for A, B and C to turn on multiple devices and set inputs for those devices. Each activity can control multiple devices. You need to program each button to the device and the command, just like in the Harmony app. I have activity A to watch cable. It turns on the tv, cable box and soundbar. Activity B watches Roku, it controls the roku and the soundbar. The power button under activity B controls the tv input. Under B, power on changes the tc input to HDMI 2 (for roku) and power down changes the tv input to HDMI 1 (to watch cable) I power everything up on activity A = power button on power up and I power everything down on activity A power button, power down. If I am watching roku (activity B) and want to turn everything off, I need to press A then the power button. It's a little clunky, but not too bad, I always went back to the activity to watch tv using the Harmony On as my TV would get confused when powering back on again. ~Brian
  5. I have: A - watch tv B - watch Roku My sequence is to press A then power. This turns every component on, tv, cable box and soundbar. The power button on activity A for power up does: TV power on, cable power on, soundbar toggle, tv input HDMI 1. The rest of the remote buttons control the cable box an soundbar. To watch Roku, I press B then power. The power button under B s set to change the tv input to HDMI 2. The rest of the buttons are programmed to control the roku and the soundbar To go back to watch cable, I press the power button agan under activity B, but without pressing the B button. On power down under B, the power button changes the TV input to HDMI 1. I then press the A button (but not the power button), which allows me to control the cable box again. To turn everything off, I use the A activity and the power button. The power down option is set to: tv power off, cable power off, soundbar power toggle to watch cable: A - power button to watch roku when the system is off: A - power button - B to turn off from watching cable: power button to turn off form watching roku: power button - A - power button I would think you could add Kodi the same was to C, using the A activity to power everything on/off This seems to be working for me so far. I did not want to sacrifice any of the other buttons for powering things or changing inputs, especially when we can use macros for multiple commands. I feel like I want/need more buttons coming from the Harmony One remote. I haven't found a better way to set this up yet, at least without more buttons to program or long presses.
  6. I think this would be a great feature. A long press is good for somethings, but not for others. For example, I have a 2nd volume control, voice volume on my sound bar. It would be great to use the stream button to go to a 2nd function of the volume keys to be able to adjust the voice volume. I am not sure how a long press would help with this as it would take multiple long presses to change the voice volume.
