Hello Jason

I am having quite a few issues that I am unable to solve.

I have Two Activities, 'Home Theatre PC' and 'Watch TV'.

To keep things less complicated I will be using 'Home Theatre PC' in this example but Issue exists in the 'Watch TV' Activity too.

I have the following Devices:

LG 49SK8500PLA - Added as LG Type 1 TV

Marantz NR1609 AVR - Added as NR/SR Series Main Zone, I have tried Essential Commands Only and also All Commands.

Flirc - Added as Flirc (Plex), I use Plex HTPC.

To have a Clean Start, I Turn Off the TV and Marantz AVR Manually, the PC stays On 24/7.

When I Press 'A' on the Skip 1s Remote followed by the 'Power' Button, the TV Turns On, then the Marantz AVR Turns On and Immediately Turns Off.

I have checked the Button Timings and Repeat is Set at 1.

I would try Learning the Original Marantz Remote for the NR1609 but the Remote Learning feature does not work which I reported back in March.

The Remote Learning will Learn the First, or sometimes the Second, Button but it will not progress any further so Learning a Full Remote is not possible.

Any Help in solving these Issues would be appreciated as, unfortunately, the Skip 1s Remote is of no use to me as it is currently.

I Setup the Remote from Scratch and Imported my Configuration File.

I then tried to Learn a Remote, the First Two Buttons Learned fine, however, when Pressing the Third Button, nothing happens.

Have you had any success with the Issue of When Starting an Activity some Devices Turn On and then Immediately Turn Off?

The Main Culprit would be the Marantz AVR (Marantz - SR/NR Series Main Zone All Models) .

Also, I am still getting the Red Ring on the Remote when Starting an Activity, trying a Second Time the Red Ring does not always happen.

And finally, I am still unable to Learn a Remote, it Learns the First Button but after that, Nothing, I can Press the First Learned Button again and that works but not the Button being requested.

I am using Version 0.9.994 (Build 9468) of the Skip App.

I Factory Reset my Remote due to some Issues where it was not Transmitting any Signals to any of my Devices.

I have Setup it up again, from Scratch but have some Issues.

I have Added the following Devices:

LG TV (Group 1)
Marantz - NR/SR Main Zone All Models
Flirc (KODI)

When I Press the Power Button on the Remote, the AVR Switches Off then On again, or On then Off.

If I go through the Wizard and Test the Power Toggle Button it works as expected, i.e. the AVR Turns On, or Off and stays in that State.

I have tried the 'Essential Commands Only' version of the Marantz Device with the same Issues.

I have just Tested another Activity and this Issue also happens with the BT Vision Set Top Box.

Pressing the Power Button on the Remote Turns On the Set Top Box but it then immediately Turns Off.

Any suggestions?

I am still having Issues when trying to Learn a Remote.

I Design the Remote, Adding all of the required Buttons.

When I Start Learning the Buttons, the App asks me to Press the First Button, when doing so it Learns the Button fine, it then moves onto the Second Button which it also Learns fine.

However, when it asks for me to Press the Next Button, i.e. the Third Button, nothing happens and the Learning stalls, the only option is to Quit the Learning.

Any suggestions?

I am able to Learn the First Button of the Remote, however, after I am asked to Press and Hold the Second Button, nothing happens.

I have tried going back and Designing the Remote again but the same Issue occurs.

I am trying to Learn the Remote for the EE TV Pro Set Top Box.

When I try and Learn a Button, I get an Error stating that 'Internet is needed for Remote Control Learning', 'Were unable to Reach our Servers'.

The PC I am using is Connected to the Internet and I am able to Access Websites with no Issues.

Firmware: 4.13.11.0

Software: RC 0.9.992

Apparently, the Issue laid with Windows 11 and not the .msix Files.

An In Place Windows 11 Upgrade has Fixed the Issues.

Hello all

I also have this Issue on Windows 11 whereupon Double Clicking the .msix File I get a Blank White Window for a few Seconds after which it Closes.

I finally managed to Install the App using the Powershell in Windows 11 using the following Command:

Add-AppxPackage -Path C:\Path\AppPackage.msix

This Installed the App fine.

Could the Issue be with Windows 11 rather than the File?
