let's connect again when you are home. We'll figure it out. A good test would be to plug it into another computer with none of the flirc software on it. It should just work.

make sure in device manager, you only have 1 libusbk device. There are two interfaces on flirc, interface0 and interface1. Interface1 is libusbk, interface0 is supposed to be the windows HID keyboard, if you accidentally replace that, the keyboard wont work

I've spoken to the harmony guys, it's built in. (the lag)

Yeah, I can not reproduce this with the harmony, or the harmony profile. However, I can reproduce this with other remotes. I will be following up with the firetv team, the problem seems to be on there end.

on a mac you can do this: Fire up spotlight, then type; terminal then do: /Applications/Flirc.app/Contents/Resources/flirc_util

pm me a session id

I'll take a video of this Open up start menu, type run, and then, cmd Browse to C:\Program Files\Flirc Then find flirc_util.exe in there then do: flirc_util.exe 'commands'

make sure the GUI is not open while you are running the commandline. Either app opens the device exclusively.

You have to first figure out what the record/pause button is. Then use my GUI with the full keyboard view.

I'm very sorry for the delay. So have you had any success with any of the remotes? Let's just rule out to make sure flirc is not defective. Can you try a panasonic or samsung profile? Let me know if that works. Also, try going to file->advanced, and do a force firmware upgrade. What version do you see in the bottom left when you are doing the upgrade. (this will be the bootloader version). Thanks and again, I apologize for the delay.

I've reproduced this. Short answer is, it's on the firetv side. I have a way of fixing this, and have something that works over here. It is a fundamentally big change, we'll see if I can get someone at amazon to listen first.

I apologize for your frustration. I will make it more obvious when upgrading that pre 3.x configurations are not compatible and repairing your remote is necessary. Please connect with me so I can help trouble shoot this.
