  1. So the NVIDIA shield has just a set amount of buttons. See attached. If I just have the following, It sounds like I'm going to be missing a lot of functionality. So I'll need a bit of help from you guys. What other keys are you looking for?
  2. sorry, does the old firmware work? If you have to press each button twice, just record them twice. Record up, then record it again.
  3. If you have a harmony 950, use: Manufacturer: Flirc Device: Kodi
  4. I think someone figured this out in another thread. If you go to settings on your firetv, make sure usb debugging is off. This will disable your usb port.
  5. Attached the firmware for you. Can you let me know what was wrong with the previous version. I'll update the current version so that whatever was working in this, works in the latest. There are issues with this release. fw_v3.1.bin
  6. Can you send me a message at support@flirc.tv? I'm behind on phone calls. You're right, it was returned to me, but don't worry, I'll get another out.
  7. does that program allow you to use your media center keys on your keyboard to control volume? If so, yes. See the attached.
  8. In the process of fixing builds and releases. Any chance the static compile works for you?
  9. If you plug flirc in the computer and use your harmony, does it work in the pc?
  10. It's tied directly to he supply. I will make it configurable in the next version. Im sorry for the inconvenience. You can stick some electrical tape over it. That's the least districtive thing you can do. Will be save. Just don't cover the IR sensor.
  11. what's the device you added for the harmony? You need to add, manufacturer: flirc, and then device: firetv
  12. Go to file->advanced. Force firmware upgrade. Make sure your firmware reads 3.8
  13. best way to do it is by keyboard key combination. So CTRL+F2 or whatever, and then link that with flirc. No way to power it on though. Have you tried pairing the 'suspend' key in keyboard controller view and just suspending the pi?
  14. Definitely not. I work at NVIDIA full time. I work on the super computing products though. My buddies in shield gave me a unit to get Flirc support on it but I haven't had time to polish it off. But that's all going to change. Next Friday is my last day at NVIDIA. I will be working on Flirc full time. Expect a lot more activity soon. This will be one of the main things I do, better Logitech integration and many more profiles. Also traveling to china to watch over the build of the next product. Excited and Terrified.
  15. So you are adding a flirc - firetv device to your harmony, is that correct? In my software, under advanced, make sure 'built in profiles' is enabled.
  16. It shouldn't require line of site. Is your IR blaster in range of flirc? Or are you using your harmony for flirc?
  17. can you post a picture of your remote? I'll debug this.
  18. You need to upgrade to 3.8, and then re-record the home button. Let me know if that works.
  19. Yes, next time it loses the firmware, can you open up the app and tell me if it it detects the bootloader and does an update?
  20. which play pause keys are you using? Try manually recording keyboard shortcuts as well. Controllers->keyboards and then probably 'p' or 'ctrl+p', etc.
  21. Not all the keys are going to light up on the virtual keyboard. Not sure why that is. Very sorry for the confusion. They should still work, let me know.
