Crevatsch Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 Yesterdag at a thriftstore i bought a 80's Grundig remote and i was hoping to get it working with my Flirc. However, when i try and program the seconden button i get the 'button already exists' error. Can someone please help me with this little project? Quote
Crevatsch Posted September 8, 2013 Author Report Posted September 8, 2013 Second, the second button :) Quote
ytsejam1138 Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 Are you using the BETA firmware? When using the BETA firmware, I had this problem too. I downgraded to the latest stable firmware HERE using the latest stable GUI and no more "button already exists" errors. Quote
ultragrider Posted April 10 Report Posted April 10 I seem to be having a similar problem: I want to learn an old Grundig remote with Flirc USB and map the codes to Keyboard the Keyboard layout but FLIRC seems to recognize all the buttons as the same one. I had a look at the IR codes an visualized them with https://ir.flirc.io/ Here is one button: +513 -2619 +516 -1034 +1043 -506 +539 -481 +538 -481 +540 -480 +514 ---> This is the same for every button on the remote -24000 +513 -2620 +540 -1009 +1042 -506 +514 -506 +539 -481 +513 -506 +513 ---> This seems to be different for each button -125000 +514 -2618 +516 -1033 +1043 -506 +515 -504 +515 -505 +515 -504 +515 --->This seems to be the same again and another button: +513 -2619 +513 -1035 +1041 -506 +513 -506 +513 -506 +513 -506 +513 -24000 +512 -2619 +540 -480 +513 -510 +509 -507 +512 -1035 +512 -507 +1040 -126000 +513 -2619 +514 -1034 +1042 -505 +514 -505 +513 -506 +514 -505 +538 So it seems Flirc interprets the first one only. Is there a way to change that? Further Info on my system: Flirc GUI Version v3.27.16 Operating System: Linux Firmware: 4.10.5 No specific Info on the remote itself. It seems to be for a TV from the 80s. Thanks for any help! Quote
