FLIRC OK button does not work in search box for 4K Max Fire TV

Just upgraded from 3G Fire Stick to 4K Max 2nd gen. On my Harmony One remote using the FLIRC interface the OK button works everywhere except within a search box to open the alphabet window. In the search box it performs a carriage return rather than the OK or Select function. Apparently the Fire Stick is interpreting the FLIRC OK code as a "return" code rather than a "select" code.

Is this an issue that can be corrected with my current FLIRC (bought 10/2022) or is a new version of firmware needed?

Having similar issue. Old devices worked fine, newer devices (4K Max Gen2), the OK button does not register whilst in Playback. Unable to turn on/off captions, go to next episode etc.

I have a new install we are working on with FireTV Rogue1 FLIRCs controlling Firestick 4k devices.

There are certain submenus in apps and such where the center button does not register.  In the main menu you can use it and "select" various apps or shows and play them.  However other seem to be requiring a different command.  Long press, Carriage return, enter?...  Not sure.    The real firestick remote works.  The successfully programmed FLIRC however does not.
