After Upgrading Flirc to latest software and firmware GUI must be open for it to work

After updating to the latest software and firmware the GUI must be open and must be the active window for any actions to happen.  If GUI is minimized or closed then no actions happen for an IR functions.  Open the GUI and make it the active window and it all works normally and responds to IR.

This is not true. You can plug the USB into another device with no GUI software and it should work with the previously paired remote.

Sorry took a long time to get back to this due to some renos.  This is true for me now.  Tried 2 different PCs, one fresh windows 10 rebuild.  The only way to get the PC to respond to commands is Flirc software open and having it the active window.  I ran it for years with no issue, then updated Flirc and this issue started.  Tried fresh windows install, same issue.  Tried different windows 10 PC same issue.  The main function I uses is power on/off with my harmony remote.  Is there a way flash it back to some old firmware and install an older version of the software?  I honestly don't even remember what the version was before I updated it.  But like I said that was after an update and I hade not updated it in years.

Yeah, do you remember what version you were on before? Also, if you just hotplug it after reboot, does that work?
