Omar Beans
Just got the remote today. I was having the same issue with my Denon AVR-S570BT but I got it to work by choosing random codes until a different models code worked. What's really annoying is that every time I try a different model/code list it resets my button bindings, but end rant. I've been trying different BenQ projector codes and I can get it to work on practically every button including power off, but I can't get power on or power toggle to turn on the projector, I've tired mapping to both the power button and other buttons like the channel buttons, and I can't get the power on signal to the projector. Original remote works fine. So I have to use my original remote to turn on my projector which defeats the entire purpose of a universal remote, I'm going to have to return this if I can't figure this out. Extremely frustrating which is why we focused on the learning portion of the device so you can learn from existing devices. I’m sorry for your initial frustration. But don’t worry. Try this: If that doesn’t work for some reason I’ll help get it fixed asap.
Omar Beans
That worked, now I'm having an issue where the buttons have about a 1 second delay before I can press another button, only on the buttons that are controlling more than one device. For example cursor right, which I have for the projector menu as well as Kodi, takes about 1 second in between presses, the color wheel on the remote with light up and rotate colors, when the colors fades I'm able to press another input, this makes scrolling through Kodi practically impossible.Any suggestions? Edit: Setting the delay to 0s did not solve the issue I circumnavigated the issue by not doubling those buttons, and using 2-4-8-6-5 for Cursor and enter on projector Edited January 14 by Omar Beans
jason
Yes any button which has more than one button is a macro and will take some time to execute.
Omar Beans
Makes sense, I got the setup now how I like it Another thing that I had to do was combine codes for my AVR, as one Avr code list worked for power, but I needed a different code list to get my "mode next" button to work.
