Using Skip1 for Smart TV

Hi

 

I'm trying to use the Skip1 to control a LG Smart TV but I only can turn on/off, Channel change... but not to access to smartTV options.  Is it possible... or would it in the future?

Of course. Is your original remote Bluetooth with that wireless wand thingy feature?

No.

 

My remote is IR and not BT.

LG includes a standard IR remote (LG AKB75675311) their smartTV. There is another one (Magic control) MR20GA Magic Remote with that wireless wand thingy feature.

I think I had it... though I can't find it now

Anyway, assuming I found it: How could it be used to "add" the missing options (like "GUIDE", "NETFLIX" or "AMAZON PRIME" to the Skip1?
