  1. Oh, sorry, it's in the Harmony setup. The remote by default repeats an IR send up to 3 times (depending on the receiving device), to make sure the command is received. For the Flirc, it should be set to repeat once, but if you've configured the Flirc as another device it could be more. I've found the Flirc doesn't need a repeat, and setting repeats to zero has reduced my accidental double-presses. Repeats The Repeats are the number of times the remote repeats a command for a device to properly respond to the command. For instance, many devices need longer or shorter command repetitions to respond properly. Example: Any time I press channel up, my Digital Set Top Box skips two channels at a time. To adjust the Repeats, from the Harmony Remote Software: Click 1. Troubleshoot at the top of the Harmony Remote Software window. 2. Select the device you want to adjust repeats for, and click Next. 3. Select Device responds to some commands either too many times or only occasionally and click Next 4. Adjust the repeats by selecting a higher or lower number, and click 5. SAVE
  2. Zaphod, have you tried setting repeat value to zero?
  3. That will do nicely. :) Thanks for the link!
  4. Thanks for the tip. I had heard firmware updates un-rooted the Ouya, but I was able to uninstall SuperSu and BusyBox, and reinstall the keyboard file and my Flirc works again.
  5. I got that with the beta firmware. Seemed to happen when I reprogrammed too many keys without deleting the existing mapping first. I ended up reverting to stable firmware, and it went away.
  6. Try a keypress delay of 400ms or higher. I also found I got glitches when the line of sight between my Harmony and the Flirc was interrupted. I ended up using a USB extension cable to move the Flirc to the front of my entertainment unit.
  7. The XBMC version in the Ouya store is unofficial version 12, which has HW acceleration tacked on and is reputedly unstable. AFAIK, version 13 alpha 1 is still best.
  8. No need to void your warranty. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=103&cp_id=10307&cs_id=1030701&p_id=2210&seq=1&format=2
  9. I'd love the ability to reprogram my remote buttons from within my Ouya, rather than turning everything off, disconnecting, and going downstairs to my PC. Any possibility of an Android app in the future?
  10. I just used Peter's walkthrough on my Harmony 650 remote, and the 'stable' Flirc firmware (not the beta/RC). Worked perfectly both in the Ouya GUI and XBMC. Had to jump to XBMC screen to program FF and RW buttons. Thanks, Peter! http://www.peterfranssen.de/2013/08/04/getting-flirc-to-work-with-ouya-and-xbmc/
