I don't support mouse keys at the moment.
I would look into your xbmc install, there should be a keyboard.xml file. Try looking there. -
I think this is your port of XBMC and the keyboard shortcut associated with back. Plugin a keyboard, try and get back, and pair that key.

Love posts like this, thanks so much and glad it's working out.

So sorry for the delay, I'll figure it out.
@kalhimeo Could you do one more thing. Do you have another machine that you can try it on?
anti_ had the right idea by moving to another room without IR. I'm going to have a fix soon in the next revision of the firmware for this kind of thing, but for now, kalhimeo, your 'noise' source might very well be your computer. Give that a shot, I wont leave you hanging.

Awesome, thanks so much for posting that.

Just thinking guys, do you think it would be a good idea to create two Flirc profiles on the Harmony software, one Samsung & one Panasonic, could set all the delays and timings and just leave the end user to program the flirc and rename their buttons as they see fit. Would cut down a lot on the questions for Harmony remotes and from a support point of view you'd know they would've using the correct settings from the outset. Just an idea, would be a bit of work initially but I'm sure it would cut down on support time before too long.
I have something better planned. Not to worry.

No you haven't sent a replacement. I've had my Flirc for a good while with the intent of migrating my HTPC to a Linux based system which I've only just done. Hence haven't been using it, I posted on the forums here:
http://www.avforums....d-flirc-tv.html
And here:
http://forum.team-me...lirc-tv.104730/
To try and spread the word.
Ended up sticking with MCE under my windows system but needed a better way under Linux. Hence my rejuvenated interest in the Flirc.
Thanks for all the help.
Follow up with me via email, let's get you a new one to try.

okay, I'm convinced your flirc isn't good. your hashes don't look good. Have I sent you a replacement yet?

A Harmony One
What profile in your settings? Have you tried the samsung and panasonic remote profiles?
-
what remote are you using?
-
Yes, upload your config. Is this only with the beta release? Something seems to be mucked up. Maybe I'll send you a new one.
Could you post the output of flirc_util settings ? Don't need the beta image for this to work.
-
does your flirc work with any other remote?
-
Yeah that's really slick.
-
Awesome, so glad that helped. What is your motherboard make and manufacturer? I was just replying agreeing with Chris' suggestion. Glad you are up and running.
-
That's the logitech harmony software. Go back into the software, click troubleshoot on the device:
"Responds to some commands either too many times or only occasionally"
Change that to zero. Should do the trick.

Thanks so much for the posts! Great to see some positive feedback, I really appreciate it.
Not to worry, you can do this with the shell, flirc record backspace, or flirc record delete.
Windows / Linux ships with the shell, the mac doesn't, let me know if you need it for the mac.

Yes, anything that supports a USB keyboard. XBOX, Play station, Apple TV. Just need to do the pairing on a supported operating system, and then you can move your flirc anywhere that has USB.
-
I'm going to squeeze this into the next release that's well over due, but coming shortly.
-
Awesome, thanks so much for sharing. What kind of remote do you have? Looks great!
-
Hi wastaal, can you post your configuration?
-
Glad you are up and running. The IR sensitivity was no accident. = )
I have mine on the back of my mini, pointing towards my wall, behind my television and it never misses a beat.
-
Ah, so then it looks like it was a remote issue?
Thanks for updating us, I'll have to add these to my list to look at. Thanks so much, keep us posted.
flirc only sending every-other remote command?

I'll have a fix for this, in the mean time, record every button twice. This is due to the particular remote protocol.
Thanks Brad.
