Unfortunately I have lost the IR receiver module from my 1st gen Flirc USB. Do not ask how, I do not know either, I have installed in a special equipment, probably during assembly it broke down since I use it w/o the transparent house.

Can somebody tell me which type of IR receiver module can I use instead of I lost? 

I think it may be one of the Vishay Heimdall modules: http://www.vishay.com/ir-receiver-modules/heimdall/

You need one for 36 kHz carrier frequency. Probably AGC2.
