itay_bia
i was wondering if it was possible to somehow tell which key combinations are already configured in flirc and perhaps erase a particular combination not through the IR signal for it. Chris!
If you press the button on your remote control when the flirc programming software is running then the key combination will show up. This is the only method I am aware of. For deleting the combination it would either require pressing the button that was previously assigned or clearing the configuration completely https://flirc.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203361609-What-does-Save-Load-Clear-Configuration-mean-
itay_bia
thanks, but that's exactly what i was not asking for. i want a way to check the keys that doesn't require the actual remote... isn't there a way to parse the configuration file to get the keyboard keys? yawor
Hi, You can't do this in the GUI, but there is a command line tool (installed with the GUI) named flirc_util, which allows to display recorded keys: flirc_util keys There's a bug on Windows so you need to execute it with full file name: flirc_util.exe keys You need to be on one of the latest releases (1.3.5 or 1.3.6 maybe) because earlier versions haven't displayed all the keys. itay_bia
thanks a lot! that is exactly what i was looking for. unfortunately, the output doesn't seem 100% correct. i know for sure that some sequences that work are not seen in the printout and some are seen multiple times (which i don't remember ever setting). weird...
