Is there anyway to bind a key on a remote using FLIRC to launch my Kodi app?

Featured Replies

Hey, I have a Intel NUC with a Flirc remove and the 1s remote, and I'm looking for a way to make it so a button on the remote launches my kodi app. Otherwise, I have to bust out a mouse to launch the app, then switch over to the remote. Not the end of the world, but would still be more convenient to only use the remote.

Also, it'd be great if the same button was able to close the kodi app, as well.

Thanks!

Hi,

if you run Windows on your NUC, what about recording a macro like <windows><s> - <k> - <o> - <d> - <i> - <enter> to your desired remote button?
