Hi. Hopefully someone can help me here.

Just bought a Flirc 2.0 usb for a kodi pc to watch local network content. I'm on firmware 4.9.8 and software 3.27.4. The harmony remote appears to communicate with the Flirc (see attached log) but nothing happens in kodi. I'm on win 11.

Sometimes there is an error message "Firmware upgrade required". Why?

In windows device manager, under other devices, there is "generic attribute profile" and "harmony" as unrecognised devices.

Before receiving the usb I had set up a microsoft wmc in the harmony software. This appears to have worked with kodi but I unfortunately deleted it as a device in order to create a "Flirc Kodi" device. Since then nothing works.
