  1. I got mine replaced by Amazon and the new one simply worked. Jason kindly offered to arrange a return/replacement but given I'm in the UK it was just quicker and easier to do an Amazon return.
  2. Appreciate the prompt response - sent you a DM :)
  3. No drama, I'm a software dev and data engineer so "technical difficulties" aren't the end of the world :) c:\Program Files (x86)\Flirc>flirc_util.exe unit_test [E] lib/libflirc/firmware/fw_4.0.c fl_ver4_set_interrupt(369): timeout [E] lib/libflirc/firmware/fw_4.2.c _fl_unit_test(132): error recording test0 Flirc Not Okay
  4. I've just landed on a Skip 1s after a miserable time with Sofabaton. I've had 3 replacement Sofabaton U2's from Amazon in just over a year, and finally convinced them to give my my money back (zero support or response to warranty claims from Sofabaton, used to justify case for refund from Amazon). Functionality wise it was "ok", crappy app but worked ok once it was programmed. Hardware/build-quality seems to be terrible, all 3 gradually developed squishy/less responsive buttons over a few months and the scroll wheel on all 3 very quickly developed an issue where it'd just randomly jump around the device list instead of scrolling. I don't think I'm a particularly heavy user (evening TV viewing), but it's very evident that the buttons have a very limited "click-life" with the most used buttons becoming completely unusable within 2-3 months. :(
  5. I'm having issues with my first foray into Flirc... Windows 11, Flirc Gen 2, Skip 1s remote (the Skip 1s works flawlessly with TV and other IR devices, no issues there). I have the Flirc USB to go in an Nvidia Shield. Downloaded and installed Flirc USB software on PC. Plugged Flirc into PC USB port, recognised by software, updated firmware successfully. Flirc logs show nothing of interest (screenshot attached to show IR debugging enabled). I choose a controller Choose a button to map (or click go on minimalist), confirm the button starts flashing and says "Press the button to be paired with..." Press buttons on remote, nothing happens. I've tried multiple remotes, multiple USB ports, have clear line of sight between Flirc USB and remote, but no matter what I do the Flirc never seems to receive an IR signal.
