I am using a mid-2014 rMBP running 11.7.10. I have downloaded the app .dmg, opened it, and dragged the application into my applications folder. After rebooting, I tried opening the app and I get a crash w/ segmentation fault. I've never had difficulty using a mac .dmg before...
This is what comes up in the command window:
